Why doesnt bungie, with destiny being a MMO based game have a public test realm? you could opt in via the app and have a seperate area for 3 characters on the start screen where you get a look at some of the new upcoming changes , hotfixes, patches, updates what not and help refine them properly in a specific feedback area where only ones who are opted in and have played the PTR can give proper feedback on and then dependant on how varying the views are on stuff then push the subject/item/part in question to a full on public poll where everyone can give thier honest opinoin on that sort of change and then you would get a much more well rounded game quicker and not piss off as many players
