Awsome idea!!!!
Give us the option to LOCK items that are carried with us.
A LOCKED item can't be destroyed.
This way we can safely carry our secondary gear for diffirent build with us safely without accidently dismanteling our gear!

This would be a great idea, I've recently started tracking down gear that will fit my build in the crucible and it would be awesome to have this option. Right now I'm throwing my PvE gear into the vault when not using it and vice versa for PvP.

I would go for a longer dismantling time just like the time it takes for dismantling a sparrow or ship

Personally I've never accidentally dismantled an item that was important to me but I think this would be a cool feature if implemented
