I've tried lots of different shaders, but none of them seem to affect my helm of saint-14...
Is this a bug or is it intentional?
don't like having bright color armor then a dark dull helmet :(

Only a few Exotics are changed by Shaders. Aclyophage Symbiote, An Insurmountable Skullfort. Exotics that aren't changed are mostly neutral colors.

Technically, though Brixxer600's answer is marked as the answer to this topic, some Exotics are not altered by shaders. Your "Helm of Saint-14" is one of those. The Titan chestpiece offered by Xur last weekend was another... But my Warlock has two exotic pieces that allow partial customization. So I'd say that some of the exotic armor for Titans will also allow partial customization. However, for the record, I'll say that I think Bungie's art department dropped the ball on this ... Or they are just lazy. They make the shaders hard to come by, presumably to give them more value, then they ruin their value by making it so that you still look like "bobo the clown" when you equip some exotics. I just doesn't make much sense!

Edited by Brixxer600: 10/20/2014 3:45:45 PMYou can't change the colour of exotics Edit I am wrong , it seems that only certain armour pieces can change colour using the shaders .

Helm of saint-14 and helm of inmost light don't change colors, and I'm sure there are some others that don't as well.

Exotics are exempt from the mundane grip of your homosexual shaders.
