Am I correct :) please?
Edit: Wow, just simply wow. Thank you to every single one of you! I had no idea this would be received with such much acceptance. It means alot, I've found a very hard time playing Destiny just to play, and you guys have secured me with motivation. If you wanna know it, I wanna prove it. Please drop some ideas you want me to look into. Again thanks it really does touch me.
in special places (>'o')>
Edit 2: I run a Facebook group called Helluva Good Gaming if interested. Me and peeps are always theory playing and giving news, update speculation, normally the first one with xurs locations, but wait there's more! A group that actually runs off of teamwork. Stop playin with Randy ' s and get in the group. Wanna raid? Sweet cause we wanna help. Nightfall? Every tuesday... like clockwork. I want you guys to be part of a growing, dedicated community. Stop with the frustrations of LFG. You already found us :)

So if Bungie had nerfed Mythoclast earlier Kabr wouldn't have died in the VoG?
-
Still no answer for me :( Was the video atleast nice and stable for viewing purposes? :)
-
Bump and grind
-
I liked your vid but question.... If this gun drops after killing a vex boss (atheon) wouldn't that mean they created it? Maybe I missed something here.
-
Bungie will patch whatever you used to figure this out because the game wasn't intended to be figured out
-
no answer for you
-
Honestly I think they just goofed with the name. Many people (incorrectly) think a Myth and legend are the same thing. Now thinking about that remember the tag line for the game, "become legend". It would appear it's just a Vex weapon meant to kill guardians. Possibly by rendering it impossible to be revived by their ghosts.
-
It's called the VEX Mythoclast. It looks JUST like weapons that we see Vex using. How was it not obvious to you that it was a Vex made weapon?

Edited by RizenSaga: 10/21/2014 2:56:44 PMDeleted because I am retarded.

Bump'd
-
My friend's little theory can work too. We kinda just figured the gaurdians/speaker/banshee... who the hell ever built it from vex part's we've scavenged. Some reverse engineering and so on. I'm sure that's wrong though. The next raid will likely tell us MUCH more. There will probably be a hive version of the mythoclast and different versions of raid gear.
-
Friendly bump so everyone can see. I believe that Lore may be able to save some who are feeling a little... stale towards the game. Maybe this is something that can grab someone's attention and make them strive for the game like I do

Edited by Sir_Blitz: 10/21/2014 7:20:21 AMwell put, now make a hardbound book of it plz..
-
Am I the only one pronouncing it like "Kahber" and not "Kabar"? Interesting theory. It stands to reason.
-
Wait there's lore in destiny right now I thought that would be in DLC 7
-
This is OP, please nerf!! But seriously, good job man I thought that was pretty informative and interesting
-
I heard that he single-handedly killed a Gorgon and hammered it's corpse into the Relic.
-
I saw somebody talking about mythoclast's grimoire so that got a little theory started in my head. In the grimoire for the relic Kabr has a little narrative and at the end it says if he talks again he is not Kabr, so maybe the vex where brainwashing him and the mythoclast was a weapon made for him to kill other guardians with.
-
Well dayum. Keep us updated
-
Looks like the gun in the movie The Fifth Element. lol
-
Am i crazy or have I been killed by the Vex, by the Vex Mythoclast in a mission before? Im pretty sure i remember looking up in the top right and seeing Vex Mythoclast as the gun that killed me in a PVE mission. Maybe not though, you guys seem like you would know if they actually use the gun. What you said sounds VERY convincing, and if i'm right it would back that up 100%. Great video
-
That was actually very insightful and well done! Keep them coming!!
-
I agree I have always though. The mythoclast was made to kill us guardians.
-
Interesting. Sounds like Red Death isn't th only Guardian killer out there.
-
Considering the vex mythoclasts description is "...a casual loop within the weapon's mechanism, suggesting that the firing process somehow binds space and time into..." and the vex are known to mess with time and can travel across galaxies in seconds I would say it is maybe somehow part of the vex or made from the vex. Then used by one of the old guardians.

Don't know if this is relevant to the topic but in destiny either in game via item or NPC or grimore card I read that Osiris came close to truly understanding the vex before he vanished. Don't know if it's relevant here though.
