PvP x PvE Suggestions

Okay, here’s my bit…It’s been boiling in Notepad for a bit, so hopefully I’ve gotten it all arranged. This’ll be a bit much to read for those that care or just like to read ideas being offered to the game. What makes this a question forum? - May contain 'What Ifs?" and "How come" Feel free to comment/dislike/like/etc. Thanks in Advance. [b][u]PvE Suggestions[/u][/b]: [b][u]Materials & Patrol Missions[/u][/b]: My question is, what true purpose does Patrol missions serve rather than when we get the randomized Patrol bounty missions? Nevertheless, I feel as if Materials (Spinmetal, Helium Filaments, Relic Iron, and Spirit Blooms) should be left as they are or if it may be a bit much, spawn a little less on the field, but leave box spawn rate the same; however, Patrol missions should reward materials upon completion. Material quantity can range from 2 to 5 (the more Patrol missions you do the greater chance for bigger payout). ———————————————— [b][u]Monster Shield Identifier[/u][/b]: There are some newer players, heck even some players still that may not fully understand how the different element damage works. I suggest adding the element icons for the monsters next to their name: Arc, Solar, Void to help newer players that may not frequent forums or don’t understand the purpose for the various weapons. ———————————————— [b][u]Monster Level & Damage Output (Not Really A Suggestion, But Looking for Understanding)[/u][/b]: Level 4 Monsters deal enough damage to harm level 20+? Do the monsters, do damage to equal our level regardless? For instance, though they’re level 4, their damage is equalized to resemble I guess, base damage of what Guardians would take from a monster 3 under their level or however that works? Still a bit confused on this. ———————————————— [b][u]Weapon Switch (Good For PvP Too!!)[/u][/b]: Instead of having Guardians dead in the open trying to switch their weapons by the Menu/Start button. Why not let the D-Pad (when in PvP or Strikes) turn into a Quick Switch option. Left D-Pad = Cycle Through Primary Weapon Right D-Pad = Cycle Through Secondary Weapon Up D-Pad = Cycle Through Heavy Weapon Down D-Pad = Sit (People love to sit, lol) ———————————————— [b][u]Timed War Zone[/u][/b]: I understand that when we stay in an area for so long (though ruined by the spawn abuse/farming) that we’ll see a message that says “The Enemy is Advancing” or something like that, but how’s about put a designated war zone area either somewhere while patrolling; however you can only access the Timed War Zone by completing a certain amount of Patrol Missions. Within the Timed War Zone, the enemy gets: - Juggler: No Ammo Drops for Equipped Weapon - Epic: Enemies are heavily shielded and highly aggressive in great numbers In return, the Legendary Drops are a bit higher, but can be limited. And maybe, just maybe have a small chance at an Exotic drop. If someone has suggested an idea like this prior to my post, then Kudos. ———————————————— [b][u]Exotic Limiter Raised[/u][/b]: I understand that Exotics in armor form have the capability to raise your Light Level expeditiously, so that’s out of the question. However, why not let us equip 2 Exotic Weapons in PvE? A Guardian should feel like a Guardian, not a peon. 1 Exotic Armor equipped, fine. Understandable for Level reasons. But 1 Exotic Weapon equipped? That’s pretty arguable if you ask me. I’d love to run my combo of: SUROS or VMC + Ice Breaker. Or even Shadow Price/Ice Breaker/Truth (or Gjallarhorn when I get it T_T) ———————————————— [b][u]PvP Suggestions[/u][/b]: KEEP. SALVAGE. IN. THE. CRUCIBLE. PLAYLIST: Says it all. Savage really requires teamwork, and is really enjoyable. Point blank. ———————————————— [b][u]Revival Overshield[/u][/b]: The revival over shield is pretty much a joke. It’s one extra bullet honestly, especially if someone is consistent with head shots. Mind buffing the revival shield just a tad so that it actually is rewarding when you help your teammate back up? For your sake, and for his/her sake so that he or she is not getting killed faster than they were just revived. ———————————————— [b][u]Heavy Ammo Kill Points & Heavy Ammo[/u][/b]: I’m confused as to why? Why do Heavy Ammo kills award additional points and why does it spawn at such a critical point in the game? The heavy ammo is pretty frequent if you ask me and the spawn of the heavy should change. End of the game heavy ammo can really screw people over, especially if you’re on a team where you can’t communicate to the other person to wait for you, so you can grab the heavy so that you spread love amongst the team. Just a thought. ———————————————— [b][u]Control Gamemode[/u][/b]: Points may be hit or miss in some people’s eyes: + Unbalanced Flag Positioning: Anyone that frequents Control with a decent team or with friends you actually know, understand how unbalanced Control can be. +Flag Possession Points: At certain times in Control I feel as if the flags really serve no purpose but to be yet another unnecessary multiplier. It’s possible for you to hold a two flag possession 5/8 (maybe 3/4) of the time and still lose the match. How come the flags don’t work towards the points, yet it’s Kills being multiplied? 2 Zones = 2x | 3 Zones = 3x Change Control’s name to Multiply or Magnify or something instead of Control. ———————————————— [b][u]Rumble Gamemode[/u][/b]: There is NO need for Heavy Ammo in this game mode at all, it’s a joke. As much as people cry for the game to be balanced, or as much as Bungie insists that the game is to be fair for everyone, leave the Heavy Ammo out of Rumble. I came into a Rumble match down a good 1500 points and the Heavy Ammo spawned. Had my Thunderlord equipped and went on a straight tare, and ended up winning the match. Was I happy? Of course. Then I stepped back and realized how game changed a pack of Heavy Ammo was, I’d hate for it to have happened to me. Thanks in advance for reading/considering/appreciating/liking/sharing/hating/dissing/etc etc. Hopefully Bungie considers some of these ideas/recommendations. [b][u]Updates may come if I think of new ideas/suggestions/recommendations.[/u][/b]
