Thousands of Guardians will be prepared to knock this time-seduced being into oblivion. For every moment the fix is not applied after the weekly reset, Atheon will be the only one experiencing a dark corner of time, a dark corner far below the Vault. Looking across the forum, there is a large audience of players requesting checkpoints into the Vault, just to experience a 30 second battle. It's time for the Raid to be enjoyable again and for no more easy rewards. Xur has stolen enough excitement and value out of obtaining rares, Atheon's descent doesn't need to see another day. Every team of randoms I play with have no interest in trying to Destroy Atheon, but only to banish him from the Vault. *Your only problem with the update is the random teleportation amendment to the final battle, which has been almost unanimously opposed by the community. I personally don't care if you maintain that change must be made, but I'll just mention that I think it's a very bad idea, one you will likely have to change in the near future.
