Material farming
Out of the 4 available materials (Spinmetal, Helium Filament, Spirit Bloom, Relic Iron) which one can be farmed the quickest? I.e. most per hour... Spinmetal in Rocketyard I can net about 80-100/hr. I haven't clocked Helium Filament or Relic Iron. The route I take for Spirit Bloom is incredibly slow...
Edit: I'm only doing this to obtain crucible marks. The character that I'm playing (trying to role play) doesn't like the idea of crucible so doesn't compete in there. But needs to get armor from FWC.

Spirit bloom is amazingly easy, easiest by far. Ember caves route or the forgotten shore. Ember caves is the best loot chest route anywhere, just loop around from where the three vandals spawn round to the entrance to winters run then round again. If I get the ten fallen majors bounty, I do that loop ten times picking up patrols as I go. Ten loops usually gets you 60 plus blooms in less than an hour plus the bounty plus patrol xp plus the chest loot. I have deleted at last four ship schematics there as all of my three alts have plenty. Plus I've gotten a legendary weapon there, a pulse which I scraped as I don't use them, and I got a shard there once on my way in to do nightfall.

Only go to Ishtar cliffs for spirit bloom there is tons of it then maybe drive to VOG area and then back and it should mostly have respawned relic iron seems hard but then again I don't know where to go for it

11 RepliesI think they all can be farmed at a pretty rapid pace. This is where I go. Spinmetal - The Divide Helium Filaments - Archer's Line Spirit Bloom - Ember Caves or Ishtar Cliffs Relic Iron - Scablands

Helium farming thru the Archer's Line is my favorite. I can usually net 50+ an hour. Relic Iron again is better farmed in the Starting Patrol Zone. I roll about 80+ there per hour. Spirit Bloom is best farmed in Ishtar Commons, doing a Clockwise route around the outer areas to hit the chests and spawn areas. I run about 60 to 70 per hour.

2 RepliesEasiest to hardest 1. Helium 2. Spin metal 3. Relic Iron 4. Spirit bloom. For each map i got a route with at least 5 Loot boxes per 5min. I usually don't farm the material itself BUT i Will pick it up if i come across some. Very effective and fast way.

Scablands is great just go in a circle and find chests inside of trenches. You'll spot a few relic irons out in about. And there is public events that happen there.

2 RepliesThere's a route for spirit bloom that's insanely fast like 80-100 an hr easily. When you spawn in patrol go left into the next major area. There's plenty of caves with chests and lots of bloom spawns. Also a fair amount of side missions to help with that FWC rank.

2 RepliesRelic iron in buried city. Mostly chests that respawn but average about 80-100. Lots of vex to kill while goin from building to building, but worth it I figure since I can't seem to find another good spot like that.

4 RepliesI have a ridiculous amount of helium. I usually start where the walker drops then run circles checking the caves, on top of the tower, by both servitors, and back. I'll do this while patrolling or waiting for public events. It's a quick circle and once you find all the possible chest locations it's easy. Plus the random helium canisters lying about.

5 RepliesSpirit bloom run works great. I've gotten up 150 an hour from it. Spin metal also works well but the public event in the spirit bloom run is easier than the spin metal.

3 RepliesI find it easier for spin metal but that has nothing to do with speed. It has to do with the ability to also farm patrol missions and public events
