the rng gods are unfair
me and my cousin were playing a tigerstrike mission on the phogoth strike. the random guy we we're in the game with was inactive for the first half of the mission up until we got to phogoth. he came in once we got to the door right before. after the match my cousin who had 71 kills 8 assists got a blue engram and rare gauntlets. i had 21kills 5 assists and got a shader and chestplate. the other random guy had 18kills 1 assist and got the MidasMultiTool Exotic Scout Rifle. its bullshit that this can happen. i know its nothing new that it happens. but still. just saying. really should be a way to make it happen less

1 Replyif the game was skill based or kill based reward system, then how about those guys who do raid? the relic holder obviously can't kill more than the guys that are nor holding the relic. if that ever happens then i will buy a ton of heavy ammo synth and just spam rockets to hug all the mobs.

whilst its not the best loot distribution system, it occurred to me this morning that it is better then wow where you need to be raiding for many hours a week just for a small glimmer of hope that the item you want actually drops! and then your competing with about 10 other people who want it as well.

5 RepliesFeel your pain my friend. Got through the earth strike and had a random join in literally as we were getting the last shot on sepiks prime.. He had only a single assist and 0 kills and got the patience and time sniper rifle. That was when I just shut off my game..
