Here's the deal Bungie, there is no negative to adding matchmaking to raids for you. If people don't use it then great for you, if they do use it then great for you. All you need to do is add a level requirement to the search criteria and put in a vote kick system that only works before the raid is actually launched. So here's how I see it working. You and two friends need 3 more for the raid, you fire team up and enter matchmaking specifying only level 27 or above for your group. It finds you three players and puts them into your fire team. You start talking to people and realize that one tit doesn't have a mic so you vote kick that loser and re-enter matchmaking to get one more person. Once you talk to your group and strategize the fire team leader launches the raid. This is 100% foolproof and should be implemented before you fix or add anything else to the game.
People are already using destinylfg.com and .net to find raid groups. You should be ashamed that a 3rd party is patching a huge hole in your game!
