It is comical to read how people who are "so done" with Destiny go on and on about Destiny. All these predictions. The one I like best is the class action lawsuit. Truly we have failed as a society when some whiny bitches file a lawsuit because their expectations for a video game weren't met. Despite the fact that most every new video game costs 60 dollars. And of those games, only a very few every remain around long enough to be considered great. My point is this, if you don't like it, don't play it. STOP writing about it. STOP talking about it. STOP hoping that it will change and become something you wanted it to be, but wasn't. If Destiny is as bad as you say it is, then it will fail. And bungie will have to go back to the drawing board in order to create something that will succeed. In the meantime, play something you love playing. And if you're going to criticize a game, be constructive about it.

You so realize that all of the games you mentioned are going to come out with 1-2 DLC packs, then you'll be sick of them. Have you read the longevity plan for Destiny? If you aren't having the utmost fun at this game, either you are playing it solo, or you are doing it wrong. Give it time and it will blossom to be a game worth not giving up on. It's re playability is far superior to Call of Duty or FarCry, and you do of course realize that most COD and FC players have given up on thou se franchises for this game right?

True. I got Evil Within this week thinking it was going to be pretty awesome.... It failed to live up. So I'm back to Destiny until the 28th when Lords of the Fallen come out (probably will be trash as well). Only thing after that is Dragon Age, And as long as it isn't like DA2 then Destiny is SoL in my book.

You're also forgetting WoD is out next month, which I know a few of my friends along with myself will be dropping a lot of Destiny game play time for. I had high hopes for this game as a fps mmorpg style game which sadly it isn't I mean it is an awesome game and has a -blam!- load of potential don't get me wrong but it's replay ability just isn't there.

I think u will be surprised by how many ppl trully love this game ppl who hate it or complain are doin it wrong ppl want everything to be easy and this games does not do easy ppl like me will still be playing this game well into the next year

The DLC is only like 6 new missions, a couple of strikes, and a new raid. Oh and they will unlock a new area in Russia

For me it's all about Halo MCC. 4 games for the price of 1 1080p/60fps for every game All digitally remastered content 108 multiplayer maps on Azure official servers And lastly... a story I can actually love. Sorry, but Destiny just cannot even come close to competing with that and as an Xbox guy through and through, it's clear they have absolutely no ambition at all to even try keeping us around. 11/11 I'm gone and I won't be back. By time they get around to delivering 'content' in Destiny on Xbox, we'll have the likes of Neverwinter, ESO and The Division for our MMO fix. I'll laugh at Bungie by then. No sale. Cya.

I've played this game (what feels like) a lot and it has some really fun aspects it really seems lacking so much content. Content is story, content is also other things in the game beside story that make it immersive. The story that is available at release feels lacking. I've read the grimoire and it is indeed interesting but it's just lore. I like lore. But there's not nearly enough story to back it up. The vendors serve very little purpose. Gunsmith that doesn't customize weapons...such a poor title. Game currency with a fairly low cap that you can't purchase anything very useful. Ammo packs. Thanks. 1 PVE vendor. 1 Cruicible vendor. 3 faction vendors that take only PVP marks. An open world... Customize your character...ok... Materials to upgrade your stuff. Too bad it only comes in patrol mode. Would be nice to have as quest/strike/Cruicible rewards. You can have matchmaking for strikes! Great! But wait. Not for weekly heroics...or nightfall...or the raid... Emblems that you can buy. Cool. I'll go visit the speaker and get a purple. Which does nothing. I read the conspiracy theory about those having hidden buffs to increase drop rates (supposedly disproved, but I can say they have not done anything for me so far). That would have been actually useful... RPG stats like armor, recovery, and agility. That do what exactly? I've seen people post what seems like reasonable feedback here. I've done the same. Not trying to do another whining thread or post here but this does not seem to be what I was seeing and hearing about before release. Yes I'll be playing this game next week, and the week after. But I'll almost certainly shelf this until the DLC is released in November. I've seen video of the next Far Cry and it looks good. Maybe Far Cry 3.5 but that would be cool with me as I liked the last one. Look at that games map! Definately bigger than this. And there is stuff to do. More research needed on my end but it looks like you can side with one of two factions, choices that influence gameplay and outcome. If not then oh well. More story than what I got out of this. More content. More customization. Fabricating equipment and items. DA Inquisition will almost certainly be good. Bioware is yet to disappoint me for an in depth story. When I bought this I cancelled my pre order of those games thinking this would be the game that would keep me playing. Not so much. Its basically a placeholder until a new title gets released. I've come to the realization that I want to like this more than I actually like it. Is it bad? No! The gameplay is very solid, but that may be it.
