The great plan...
So guys listen to this.This freakin company had a plan from the start.
1.Prommise an open world shooter that is alive and detailed
2.Get people excited with amplified info over things such as strikes pvp and diversity of the world
3.Take the money from all of your customers
4.Release the game with 25% of what you've prommised
5.The rest of 75% that was prommised will be released during the period of 10 years in the upcoming sequels
6.Shit on all your customers that thought destiny would be much more than a game.
7.Make them all suffer by facing the reality that all you can do in destiny in a whole week can be done in 2 days.
8.Make them regret that they purchased a game shittier than COD

This was my reaction to buying the game. I felt a bit betrayed by a company I grew up loving, but this is sadly the way the industry works now. It used to be that you HAD to have a perfect game at launch with great story and everything that you promised your fans so they would keep coming back for your other projects and so that sales numbers would be high. With the advent of all the time everywhere internet you can now cut up a game and sell it nickle dime to gamers so that instead of buying a $60 game once you now buy it, then a dlc 6 months later, then another and another until when its all said and done you ended up more or less buying the game several times over.

First off drop an M off promised, christ what are they teaching you kids in school these days? Secondly, take that fervor and apply it to something that actually matters, stop wasting it on being butt hurt over a company doing what companies have done since the beginning: MAKE MONEY.
