5 simple fixes for PvE players.

1. Give a PvP Free path to complete Exotic Weapon Bounties. Keep the current format for those that enjoy mixed bounties, but PvE players often do not like PvP gaming. 2. Make faction merchants accept BOTH kinds of marks. This leaves FOUR exclusive merchants that ONLY accept one kind of mark. 3. Lift the Weekly Mark cap or at least double it. If our marks are to be limited make it 200 total per week as opposed to only 100 if you don't play PvP. 4. Lift the total mark cap. Period. 5. Bigger fireteams for patrols, story missions, and strikes. Most of us have more tha two friends that have this game that still play it.   • 1 yes was annoying both for me an probably my opponents running around rumble with a void shotgun for thorn bounty 2 HELL YES its so annoying vanguards marks being almost useless once you have the 1 or 2 bits of gear you want 3 meh the cap is already at 300 if you play all 3 classes and promotes trying different playstyles if you max out on 1 character 4 meh same as 3 5 yes especially patrol but missions and strikes..... they were designed up to 3 people so could break the game balance so id say add special strikes which allow greater numbers up to 6

    • Things that I would like to see fixed. 1- Please come up with different bounties. Playing the same mission over and over again gets boring. 2-Vanguard bounties that require you to beat it with a modifier. Players should be allowed to earn more XP and vanguard marks for completing them on a higher difficulty. 3- PvP. Please change the drop rate at least for the top 3 players ( who get a positive kd ). Tired of carrying the team on my back and then watch a guy who all he did was give the other team points and then getting a strange coin or legendary engram.

      • People need to understand that there is pvp in the game too. Factions are fine. Vanguard marks are for vanguard items specifically. It's fine if you are a hater of pvp but it keeps the game alive no doubt.

            You want 5 simple fixs for pve players 1. First of Seperate pvp and pve balance for guns...... straight up this is the biggest -blam!- up bungie has ever done.... period 2. Secondly stop thinking players should play pve bungies way it is -blam!-ing up pve game play for people who decide they have this amount of time to play and play the way they see fit.... 3. Third raise the caps.... marks should be something useful dont get me wrong vendors dont give much that I dont already have across all three characters on my account but shit make it something that can be used for other stuff.... 4. Fourth and easiest for pve players show them some love we play for the story we play because we like playing something for a good story with friends and want to enjoy helping out each other... 5. Fifth and final piece thay might show people that bungie actually listens to everyone not just their pvp players.... stop messing up story game play stop messing up raids weapons and every ability that pvp players bitch abkut fix your game based off game play not pvp most people are tired of finding something good for their character then find out the next week all the hard work they put in to get that makes it useless cause someone on pvp bitched.... sorry for language and it will probably be gone but sadly the truth of the matter is your alienating all pve players because whiny little people in pvp....stop this now your making more people quit playing your game due to you messing up pve for them stop!

            • I am NOT an offical but I can answer you to all questions from the view of a product manager: 1. The exotic bounties include PVP, yes. BUT the quests for them sound harder as they are. Even I as a total pvp sucker have managed all of them in 3-5 matches. And when I can do it, everyone can. Yes I suck at PvP but for that I am awesome in PvE ;) 2. At the moment the factions suck, yes. But they are part of a deeper system IF we are ever to see it, only bungie knows, but if yes, it's impossible to change that. And also from the viewpoint of the logic it wouldn't make sense and also it's not that hard to level them to level 2 as you can level them through pve AND pve and with that said, faster than crucible or vanguard themself. 3. This would be a very bad idea, as far as I understood the vanguard and crucible will be with us until the end of days and thus always have to 2nd highest tier available ingame and they must block it, that you might collect enough marks to buy the newest DLC gear. Else you collect up and are finished within 1 week after release of any new stuff. And then you'd cry that the game is already over again. 4. see 3 5. The whole game-engine is set up for 3 people per team and 2 teams per raid. They will never ever raise this, except when the game keeps super high frequented with players, so high that they can be sure the game will run at least 10 years, as they planned. THEN and only then there might be very very very slim chance but I would never count on it, as the game engine is build onto teams of 3.

              • They lied to us. This game isn't for PvE players. PvP plan for Destiny: -unlimited repetitive play -regular events with limited time game modes -constant patches to address PvP balance -additional maps with paid dlc PvE plan for Destiny: -unlimited repetitive play -occasional events that offer nothing new for PvE -constant patches that address PvP balance without paying attention to effect on PvE -a small amount of content for ~$20 every few months Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth...

                  • Marks are useless anyways I used vanguard gear for a short period of time before I got the raid gear. I could fill my fault with only my exotics. None of the weapons these factions sell are worth my time. The only thing marks are good for are ascendant materials. Which by the time you get all your raid gear you will have enough shards from the raid itself. So really changing up the marks is irrelevant.

                      • I honestly think the weekly mark cap is too high compared to the price of the items. Never played a game before where you were able to get any items paying less than the weekly cap. Make the weekly cap 50 or make all the gear start over 100 marks imo. I do think the max cap should be raised though two weeks worth of marks before having to dump is silly.

                        • I agree with all of these although ordering them according to preference for me would be 5, 2, 4, 3, 1. I would love nothing more than for fireteams to be 4 man groups. We always have to split into two groups of two or leave a buddy behind which then leaves him with no one to play with. I've heard people say 4 is just as random as 3 but that's not true at all. Most co-op games allow for 4 man teams so a lot of people have formed a group of 4 friends that generally play these type of games together.

                                • No, just no. Why would I do pve to get my exotics? You do realize the crucible was created first and then later on the story and your pve got added to please pve heroes like you. Be happy with what you got and stop crying about pvp, the maker of your game.

                                  • Concerning the Crucible/Vangard Mark weekly cap... What if the cap was combined? For example, you'd cap out at 200 marks for the week. If you want to do 100 of each, 150 Crucible / 50 Vangard, etc. I believe most people would be much happier if given the choice. On a side note; What about the possibility of an exchange rate between marks? Probably not a 1-to-1 exchange to avoid abuse, but it'd give an option for those on either end of the pvp/pve spectrum.

                                  • 6. Make PvP gear and PvE gear.(weapons and armor) PvP gear will be useful in crucible and Iron Banner but not PvE and PvE gear will be useful in PvE and not PvP. This way PvP players can hit 30 and not have to do PvE, and PvE players can not be nerfed for balance issues...

                                    • Eh. You're asking the game to be changed to meet a PVE style. It's too much. Personally I think there's more important fixes to be made then what you're asking like top PVP or Strike players receiving crap rewards while scrubs get legendary and exotic gear. Also strike playlists are too easy and there's no real challenge in the Nightfall and weekly. I'd rather have the game improved for the long haul then made easier for people to level and gear. It will last a lot longer if they actually lower the cap a bit or raise the mark cost. Too many people hit 29 in the first week.

                                        I'm going to have to disagree a bit. For the same reason that PvP players have to do VoG to hit level 30, PvE players have to do Crucible for exotic bounties. It would be ridiculous to demand PvE players get special treatment over PvP players by being able to skip the PvP element. So to make it fair we would have to have raid gear drop in crucible allowing PvP players to skip the PvE element. Do you want raid gear to drop in crucible?

If they make a PvP free path to exotics (which already exists via Xur) they would have to make a PvE free path to level 30, since the only way to do that is through the raid. If anything PvP players are forced to play PvE, not the other way around. 2. I agree with this one. Factions should accept Vanguard or Crucible marks. 3 and 4 are demanding the same thing. The reason there is a cap is 1, to prevent people from max gearing in a day, 2, to increase the games longevity, and 3, to encourage moderation. This is done in every major MMO. The pure PvE crowd should be familiar with this since all they do is brag about all the MMOs they played before this. 5. I also agree that fire teams should be at least 4 players, but I'm fine with the raid being 6 as more than that would just be crowded. Future, larger raids would probably be good with 8 people.
