Loot caves never work for me, i tried the skywatch one before and didn't get much from it only blue and green. on the flipside i get really good drops when i don't spend too long in one area. Several legendary engrams from normal gameplay some turned into shards others turned into Truth and Thunderlord. Maybe bungie is secretly rewarding me for not useing loot caves xD

I tried doing this and it didn't work for me at all n I saw someone else try n do it n no enemies were rep awning unless you go like a mile away.

While useful, I'd prefer people stop making videos like these, as there will always be another loot cave to farm by the dedicated cave farmers: And this one will soon be nerf'd now. Videos like these for some reason catch Bungie's Nerf like gaze, and keep them from fixing the real problems at hand. Dear Bungie, just stop already. Nobody cares if shooting into a cave for an hour or two a day is not in your "Vision" of the game. If someone wants to do that, and gets a kick out of it, your not going to stop them from doing it. Your wasting the community's time by focusing on this, Focus on whats missing in this game, like...CONTENT! or would you rather keep wasting our time by taking choices away form us that can be easily subverted? For the love of God, I don't know why you haven't caught onto this yet. GIVE PEOPLE VALUE FOR THEIR MONEY AND TIME SPENT, maybe than you'd see fewer people doing this activity you detest so much. Give us a game we want to come back to and live in, instead of more of the same bounties and strikes over and over again! Edit: So yeah, maybe I'll even go here later and do this for 20 minutes just out of spite to your "Vision". Seriously Bungie stop wasting the community's time and work on the actual things that need fixing! Edit#2: You know, the whole "Cave Farming" thing could be easily solved by offering a "Horde" mode to players who want to kill lots of things and have good chances for engram drops. It would also make more sense fitting into your "Vision", just sayin'

Looks like a really really boring way to play this game.

At this point I dont really care if people farm "lootcaves", as long as they dont wreck the entire zone while doing this. IMHO the problem with the original lootcave was that it basically killed the whole Skywatch zone. Without any Hive the Fallen just stood there looking stupid. No dynamic left at all. Plus you could see the farmers standing right splat in the middle of the zone going bang-bang-bang ad nauseam. But if you find some deserted room or cellar, what do I care? Just dont throw a fit if I have legitimate business in the area and disturb the spawn.

Why do people love staying in one place shooting at the same enemies for hours? lol. What's wrong with a circular route making your pickups on route? That way you never have to stop just to make pickups. Plus a good circular route will have chests along the way. I have my own circulars that I like and it breaks up monotony a bit. I seriously couldn't be arsed doing this or any loot caving of any kind lol. Its dull enough running a circular but at least it keeps me moving.

I've always liked that location due to the amount of spirit bloom and chests you can farm there. I tend to kill all, check the four locations in there for chests, sparrow behind the building as there'll usually be a chest and spirit bloom there. Back round to kill all again and check for chests.

i saw 5 people doing this earlier, i proceeded to dance front of it just out of spite. hundreds of melee's later, they left, only to claim the chest inside for myself :)

Technically, this is not NEW. People have discovered this about 2 weeks ago. It's no that useful considering the drop rate is lowered.
