Post Your Best Build Here
With Iron Banner now gone I have heard lots of my friends going crazy over the best builds to use in competitive PvP. But I have noticed that so far there is no real meta for Crucible yet. In case no one has made builds in MMOs or had to make one for COD or other perk system shooters, here's how it works. First things first, you need to state what purpose the build is for. If it is for PvE state what for whether it be raids, strikes, or even casual group patrols. If it is for PvP state what game mode it does best in ie control, skirmish, rumble, etc. next go over what class, sub class, and traits that you use. Then go over what guns you use. Most importantly, what role do you fulfill? An example build:
Warlock - Voidwalker
Control build
Traits:
-Vortex Grenade
-Blink
-Vortex
-Soul Rip
-Arcane Spirit
-Annihilate
-Ancestral Order
-Vortex Mastery
Weapons:
-Hand Cannon (Thorn)
-Shotgun (The Crash)
-Rocket (Steel Oracle)
I use this as a point control CQB class.
Positive feedback on anyone's builds including suggestions.

1 ReplyThis is one of my favorite gunslinger builds: Perks: Tripmine Grenade Better Control (Double Jump) Gunfighter (Gold Gun) Knife Juggler (Throwing Knife) Path Unknown Gunslinger's Trance Way of the Fearless Gambler's Dagger Exotics: Achlyophage Symbiote Armor: Main in Intellect and Discipline Description: The goal of this build is to weaken your opponent with an accurate gun for me I prefer my Crusader 1 (Scout Rifle) or Suros Regime (Auto Rifle) and to throw knives into your opponents heads immediately getting your throwing knife back. Takes notes that this is a somewhat difficult build to use if you aren't able to land headshots. As for my special weapon I prefer using my Final Boss (Sniper Rifle) which has Spray and Play which increases reload speed if its mag is empty. As for the Gunslinger's Trance perk, it allows me to have even more stability when I get headshot kills for my Suros or Crusader so I can get headshots more effectively.

6 RepliesLol, not to make you angry, but there really are no "builds" in this game. There are selectable perks you modify for the battle situation or your personal tastes. The gun use makes your performance.

My usual Subclass:blade dancer Perks: Grenade arc bolt Jump blink Super perk razors edge Melee perk back stab Fleet footed Stalker Weapons: Primary(last word) Secondary(I'm stuck with a blue atm) Heavy(the swarm) This is my hunters pvp load out works pretty well :)

4 RepliesNice thread My current build is Void Walker Warlock with Nerigal Savant III except for the helmet which is from FWC and has the perk that granades reduce the cooldown of your melee effect. I play with Energy Drain enabled on my granades and melee and my primary is Shadow Price which reduces granade cooldown after a kill. Basic combo is to use granades and melee to regenerate nova bomb The weapon lets u use granades faster, that replenish nova bomb and let u use melee effect faster,that reduces nova bomb s cooldown as well.
