Does anyone match gear with guns?
Hate the auto rifle nerf. Some are just "use a scout rifle or hand cannons." I built my gear sets around auto. So now I have to trash guns and gear? We should at least get back shards and energy out of gear after dev get there nasty hands on it from dismantling it. I will probally just wind up quitting the game.

Of course. My entire gear is based around my weapon of choice. After today? I have some gear rethinking to do myself.

Yeah I had done the same, it just made sense to match the armor to the weapons you actually use.
