Needs more...

Hot fix aside, I had a few ideas today as I was riding my Sparrow around the moon. I noticed the moon's surface could easily make a nice racing circuit since it's literally a big squiggly ring. That really got me going. One thing I really hoped for would be some rugged post-apocalypse buggies and other vehicles, not just the Interceptor, Pike, or multiple Sparrow repaints with varying speeds or abilities. I started thinking "what if there were more vehicle missions?" Different class races for Sparrows based on their rarity, mounted Sparrow weapons, buggy races, combat racing, Twisted Metal style arena combat, vehicle based missions and boss fights with enormous Hive monsters or Cabal war machines. Then I though "what about gigantic zerg bosses that take 10 or more people to bring down? Just some ideas.

  • Ooh, also the vehicles and vehicle weapons could have their own skill trees like guardians and their weapons do. Each model have a different set to match each player's driving style. Divide the races by class, then by rarity so uncommons don't get left in the dust by legendaries. Have a roadster circuit and a mudder circuit, maybe even a battle wagon circuit for the big trucks only. Let the combat racing have separate circuits and a combined free-for-all circuit with all classes and rarities. Lapped races and sprint races, aerial combat and races with the same systems in place for ships. Space combat, all that.
