Patch hasn't gone live yet.
But just a general question, why are PVE players getting dumped on?
PVE is a completely different realm compared to PVP and removing and adding buffs to certain weapons in a mode that needs those stats is ridiculous? Why would you nerf a gun that people grinded hours for in PVE and haven't even used it in PVP.
Do bungie realise there are some people out there who genuinely don't like PVP and play more PVE and their stats count in that overall?
People with higher tiered guns can be absolutely garbage in PVP why do you think they prefer their strikes and missions and raids.
Also I don't care about the AR nerfs but it would be nice to still love a weapon and not be forced to start -blam!-ing using another I don't like purely based on damage and crits?
I feel like we're all being pushed into things we don't necessarily want and this game was meant to be based on your own choices and style yet these hot fixes and forums are telling me maybe I should start using a scout now?
This isn't really a moan here, it's just my opinion but RNG blessed me with some good stuff and I don't want to be pissed on because PVP players aren't good enough to kill properly.
I just hope deej and the rest of bungie remember we all have our own ways of playing and that PVE STILL EXISTS HELLO?! so don't -blam!-ing focus on people who can't win games and cry for nerfs all the time.

Patch went live..

I totally agree. It's a dumb move to nerf in pve.
-
I agree with you, Dr Strange X. I don't play PVP and i don't like PVP. Because of some exotic bounties, sometimes i'm forced to play PvP. I'm a PvE guy, and i was hoping to drop the Vex Mythoclast on Hard Raid. Its a very difficult Raid, and a very difficult drop. If someone managed to get the weapon, they deserve it. And it should be overpowered. If people think, the vex is a very unbalanced weapon for PvP, nerf it only in PVP.

People are acting like the weapons they got will all of a sudden start shooting plastic pellets and do no damage. The guns you have still deal damage ... and a significant amount to PvE mobs. Your overall play strategy will likely not change much.
Do bungie realise there are some people out there who genuinely don't like PVP and play more PVE and their stats count in that overall?
Do you realize that there are some people who genuinely like PvP, and that the fixes that they introduced are an essential part to keeping the experience in PvP fun? Do you not realize that other people besides you play this game? Do you not realize that these fixes are making the play experience for those people much more enjoyable, while being at relatively little-to-no cost to players like you?

Yah, there was nothing good listed in the latest Hot Fix. Its got the feel of making all weapons in a class the same. Once you get anything for a weapon class you can stop looking for anything better.....why should I play the vault raid again if the rewards are the same as what I can get else where?
-
i think the titan should be nerfed (punch/grenades)
-
THIS AINT A HOT FIX.. IT'A COLD BUST, YO
-
They did this because you touch yourself at night.
-
They should have nerfed only auto rifles without full rate of fire..... Now these SMGs suck even more.
-
I know. Why not just patch it for PvP? I mean if it don't even exist none of this would be a problem
-
i tried the stranger's rifle today just because i could and i wanted to. when fully leveled up it is not bad at all. it leveled up so much faster than the legendaries. i think i will keep on pulling some of the old rares out of the vault and having a day or two with them. 'the best gun is the one in your hand' if you have good pvE skills.

Well... wait a minute. You're complaining that the gun you use has been nerfed and you're going to have to start using another one. But oyu don't want to use a gun just because it's more powerful. That's the only reason people use the Mythoclast. Because it's the most powerful. Me, I've gone through the whole game using scout rifles, apart from a short period recently where I switched to AR because my SR became a little UP for what I was fighting. But I've resolved that now with the Vanguard SR and I'm slowly levelling it up to kill stuff effectively. I've seen people go through the game using Hand Cannons and AR, but as soon as they Mythoclast drops for them, oh they're an SR person. Rubbish. Pretty much everyone uses the most powerful gun they have. Because it makes sense to. If one gun is nerfed, and another upgraded, obviously people will switch to it.... not because they have to, but because it's more powerful. Scout Rifles should've always been more powerful per bullet than an AR. because it's a smaller clip, and requires more precision. ARs fire faster and more, and therefore should be weaker per round.

PvE isn't going to be affected since it pretty much auto-balances based on what you're attacking. The gun is still going to be the most OP considering the changes to the AR's didn't apply to the Vex since it's a Fusion Rifle class item.
