The poorly-made jumpship we found was an Arcadia class. Standard issue. Halfway around the planet, the stabilizers began to shake. I alerted my Ghost to this. "I know, this ship is so old- how it still flies I don't know." I remember my old ship- the civilian one I bought right before I joined the City Patrol, the Phaeton class. It was outfitted for military use. I remember about the Tower, and the undead soldiers who lived there. I realize I am one- and I will be living there for eternity. I am happy. We land in the Tower not five seconds too soon. As soon as our ship touched drydock, it broke into thousands of little pieces. "Damn," says my Ghost. Thousands of Guardians see me, the Titan level 2 in the Lightmail. They walk away. I begin a tour with my Ghost- I find my old room, the dining hall, the Cryptarch. All of this brings my memories back. I just can't remember what I had done in my past life... My Ghost takes me down a staircase. There rests a glass table, around it a tall, proud Awoken man, a short, energetic Exo, and a midsized human woman. These were the Vanguards, I am told. Suddenly I remember- the Awoken Titan trained me, loved me as a son. "Zavala?" The man looks up from his gun. "Ander? That you?" Zavala is close to tears, so happy that I made it. From what? He takes me down a hallway, helps me remove my armor so my cold, hard, metal skin is exposed. His Ghost opens a door. And there it all is- my guns, my armor, my level, my Mark, my ship. I close my eyes, then open them. It's all still there. My Ghost helps me don the armor, absorbs the guns, docks the ship outside. This Awoken stranger has done all he can for me, and I am happy. He whips out a flash drive. I understand- it's my Light that the Ghost took from my corpse. My Class is fully restored- I am again a Guardian.
