Ideas for Change.

I see so much criticism and have written my fair share. I won't be complaining in this one though. I just want to post things that we would like to see. If I see something good in the comments I will add it and quote the user. But here are some things I would love to see. Bungie, I hope you see this. As there are 3 types of users that must always be thought of - Beginners: Starting the game, everything is magical. - The Grinders: Played through everything once or a hundred times. Looking forward to Dailies, Weeklies, and Raids - End Gamers: Done it all. Level 30, have their favorite gun, armor and aesthetic eye candies. Why keep playing? 1. The Librarian: This NCP would let you see the Grimoire Cards you have aquired, (cue epic Grimoire reading music). He would also let you see the bonuses you have acquired and what you need to work towards. 2. Xur the Exotic Bounty Giver: Xur gets his own Reputation bar. Equip one of (The Nine) class pieces and you can buy exotic bounties based off of the Rank you achieve. - Rank 1 : Heavy weapons, - Rank 2 : Special Weapons, - Rank 3 : Primary weapons. Every rank after, a random bounty with a chance for special exotic armor bounties. 3. Wave Mode: Unlocked at level 25, you could play through new maps (or rehashed multiplayer/story ones) that you job is to survive as long as you can. There is only a level 25 version and a 30 version. Within these, the enemies cap out 1 level higher than you but start to get modifiers after a time, then increase in number. 4. Sparrow Racing....racing...on sparrows. 4.5. Iron Banner Sparrow racing, your sparrow type MATTERS. 5. Crucible Party Playlist: 1 or 2 different types of Crucible games that are geared more towards playing with friends and having fun. - Relics vs Swords - Oversheilds with increased super cooldowns - Oddball - Other Objective based gametypes that made Halo Multiplayer so much fun. 6. Ranked Arena: Queue up with your team to fight others or queue up solo to get matched with other single/duos. Award Arena marks for scoring in the top X% of the week. So many options for this. 7. End-Strike Boss Drops: Spending 20 mins killing a hard boss is better if he drops something. Have each boss drop a material or a legendary weapon\armor that you can only get from that boss. Thing is, it is not class specific. This may require increasing the cost of things that cost Legendary materials. 8. Factions Changes: No longer defined by attribute, instead by ideology. Choosing a faction unlocks special bounties for that faction and allows you to participate in weekly events that pit the factions against eachother. Fighting in crucible, special weekly objective games (king of the hill), or just doing strikes/patrols. In these you are partnered up with others of your faction. Whoever's faction wins that week is given a reward. You can side each week with a different faction. Lot to define this, but it is a good starting point. 9. Evolving missions: If you start a mission (maybe strike) after some point it will alert you in game that your objective has changed. It will lead you to a different objective that you have to complete that is random. This means that the story/strike will not always be the same. This evolving mission will be like the exotic bounties for missions. They will be multi-part, and start somewhere in a mission (optional). Once you finish the first part, you will have 24 hours to finish the next part or you will fail the mission. These could award, legendary gear/exotic. 10. The gear: I am trying not to complain. The gear needs to show what you have done. If you have an item you only get on chance from killing a certian boss, or maybe a certian way (exotic bounty), then people know or ask how did you get that weapon! The thing everyone hates the idea of is getting to lvl 30 and there being an army of clones. Everyone wants to look and be different. If that means a vendor who can change the look of your armor, then fine. Okay that is it for now. I might do a video going more indepth on some of these, but if this gets downvoted into infinity then I won't. Eyes up Guardians, change starts with you.

  • how about, every week after you have maxed out your vanguard or crucible marks at 100 marks for the week any event that would have awarded marks (4 for a gold public event, 2 for a crucible loss or 6 for a lv24 strike playlist ect.) now instead of awarding nothing awards an additional 5 rep for the appropriate faction (vanguard or crucible) for each mark you would have received had you not already capped for the week (additional 20 rep for a gold public event, 10 rep for a crucible loss or 30 for a lv24 strike playlist ect.) this is a small enough amount that it would not break the rep system (
