crafting Suggestion

Bungie, You really should implement an Orange crafted weapon class. These would be weapons on the level of exotics but far different. Each weapon would have a skill tree. The blueprints would be received in the field, whether its PvP or PvE. They would be equivalent to Legendary engram drops. The blueprints are taken to the Gunsmith (who is currently pointless outside of ammo packs). Once turned in a quest starts. The following would be an example of a Primary Auto Rifle. Turn in blueprint found in PvE to the Gunsmith. He responds with we have never seen anything like thi before, must be golden age technology etc etc. He assigns the first task: Collect 50 spinmetal for the Gun casing. Upon completion he sets the next task: He wants an elemental weapon core, to which the player is given a choice of killing 100 Vex majors/Ultras for Solar, 100 Hive majors/ultras for void, or 100 Fallen majors/ultras for Arc damage. Once complete and he has the weapon core the weapon must be infused with something special for its first trait. Kill a Fallen VIP (random patrol spawn in Russia) for first trait A, or a Hive VIP for first trait B, or a Vex VIP for a first trait A. Then a different VIP for a trait B, including the Cabal for 4 options. Once complete the beginning skill tree is set up. This consists of the first 5 bubbles. For bubbles 3, 4, and 5, the player must collect parts from a specific type of enemy weapon. For bubble 6 & 7 which includes the first Damage mod the player must kill an Ultra. For the next 3 bubbles the player must collect certain items based on their first choice of elemental damage. These would be randomized traits based on the initial choice. For the last 4 damage mods the player must collect more material as well as ascendant energy in order to complete the skill tree. Once complete the gunsmith names the weapon and the player must choose a skin for the weapon based on a randomized specific weapon type that they have to go kill an enemy for. Once the entire task is complete the player now has a personalized advanced weapon, similar to an exotic but far far more unique in quality and looks and skill tree. Thoughts?
