This Thread is a Joke

As you know, more and more people are spending hours upon hours completing VoG and earning sets of raid gear so they can finally reach level 30. But some players just dont have the time to invest in finding a team and then fighting out way through the raid. So im here to propose that raid gear be offered on the Xbox and PSN store! So that players that dont have the time or just simply cannot finish the raid can reach level 30 too! Also raid exclusive weapons could be offered also. If you agree then post a +1! If not, feel free to voice your opinion

  • No thank you. I don't play most games with MT, and the ones I do play never buy anything because I only play MT games that offer only cosmetic purchases. Adding MTs makes a game pay to win, and nobody likes a spoiled rich kid that has the best of everything because of mommy's credit card. Just my 2 cents.

  • And what will you do when you are 30? There is literally no point to the armour other than to do the raid! So you pay real money and get to 30... then what? It's not the best gear for PVP, but you can run the raid on hard now for... oh wait you've already bought all the rewards! Anyway... Bungie would need to release a s*** ton of more content to justify micros transactions. We already have a shell of a game cut up into DLC, can you imagine the outrage if they did micro-transactions as well?

  • I vote no. I don't like how games have become so easy now, buying and/or randomly earning items that should be earned. I wish we could go back to the days where you actually had to work towards a goal to get rewards, but now the gaming community has been filled with casuals and devs figured that the best way to make money is to dumb everything down so they'd actually buy the game. I wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens though. Get enough people to cry about it on here and they'll probably make it happen.

    • Signed +1 Even the people I've hit up through this forum don't respond in game. Without matchmaking the least Bungie could do is offer this.

      • No. While I don't think it'll make the game play to win, it will create a real money economy that gives marginally better gear to those who have more money than sense. Not all gamers are sucking money out of their parents to buy silly digital crap, nor are all of us making good enough money that we can soak up $3 here, and $6 there for the same. I refuse to buy the add-ons for COD: Ghosts for just this reason. Bungie and Activision need to fix the game to provide a more complete game (especially in regards to the story) before they start adding anything else on, and I'm damn sure not interested in paying extra for the rest of the story when I've already paid full price as it is. As TenYearPlan said, they can provide a way to buy stuff with vanguard and crucible marks... though the grind is bad enough already. Any talk of paying real money for extra onesie and twosie digital content smacks of facebook game nonsense that panders to those who either don't earn their own money or those who spend their money stupidly.

        • No..I havnt been able to get group for raid..my work hours suck..but I still say no..beating raid should give a chance (chests) etc for gear that can only be obtained from raid. I do think there will have to be a way around it, when dlc comes out or they raise lvl cap how do we get to lvl 30?

LOL, no. Just complete the damn raid. It literally takes 1-2 hours, especially if you "cheese" the bosses. The templar is very easy to defeat, just stay up top, and Atheon can be defeated within a few teleports. Having micro transactions would make the pve players feel worthless, knowing that all of their hard work and dedication, was sold like nothing.
