I encourage all to stand around.
This is a farm guide to getting easy legendary and exotic gear.
Start up crucible and search for control or clash. You can get lucky with skirmish sometimes.
After that all you have to do is stand there. Yup you heard me kids just stand there. Shoot someone if they approach but you don't have to kill them, and next thing you know you have the same chance of getting an exotic as the top player in the match!
Now go farm those crucibles!

Go out there, get -blam!- in the Crucible, win in the Crucible, whatever. Just go have fun and enjoy the playing. This guy is a major part of what is wrong with the game, promoting laziness and entitlement.
