My view is matchmaking should exist for all content, but provide a lower tier of rewards than organized raids, similar to LFG/LFR in World of Warcraft. The system is very beneficial for those that cannot commit to raid times or consistent teams (I work a lot, with unpredictable schedules). I understand that said teams are more prone to failure, but currently I can't see me ever having the opportunity to experience raiding in this game without this feature.

Perhaps a few elements to reduce the matchmaking issues: *If a connection is dropped - (Internet disconnects etc), allow 5 minutes or so to the player to re-connect to that fire team. *If a Player leaves during play - Open up a spot for a replacement - perhaps everyone can either vote to wait for a new player (paused), or to keep playing while they wait for someone to join... *Have a ranking system - If a player leaves (Someone who keeps leaving games regularly stuffing everyone around) - this effects their 'rating' for when connecting with other players... If their 'rating' begins to get too low, they are no longer able to go into matchmaking for raids.
