PvP Balance

As I think a lot of us know PvP needs a lot of things to be balanced and fair. Now I for one think PvP will never be truly balanced since evey one can bring their own weapons in the game but here are some ideas I think will help even the playing field a bit: Exotics I for one think exotic weapons of any kind should not be allowed in PvP. Weapons like the Vex Mythoclast and the Pocket Infinity ruin PvP. When I can kill someone at mid-range without having to really aim with the Pocket Infinity or being able to down someone with very few direct shots with the Vex Mythoclast make it frustrating to play if you're on the receiving end or just make PvP boring if there's no challenge if you're dishing out the pain. Fusion Rifles I was surprised when Bungie mentioned a lot of weapons that were gonna get buffs and debuffs yet failed to include the Fusion Rifle. If you're a half decent shot you can down anyone from mid-range and with a short charge time for most fusion rifles it makes it frustrating to play against people who use them. They should either all have increased charge times so you just can't run around the map shooting wildly or have their damage toned down or just decrease the range they are viable at. The Maps Personally I think most of the maps aren't designed well. Most of the maps are asymetrical and those types of maps only really work for one sided objective based game types. There are none of those in Destiny. Since most game types are just basically team slayer there should be more symetrical maps in the future. Abilities and Supers When in PvP I think everyone's abilities should be limited to their most basic form. This will make it so that combat is focused more on guns and grenades and less on one hit melee kills and cloaking. I do still think that you should be able to mix around where you want to focus training, meaning weather you have more armour, recovery, or agility, but that is as far as I think it should extend. So those are my thoughts on balancing PvP. I would like to hear what everyone else thinks about this as I'm sure people feel differently. Also keep in mind I don't think these ideas should apply to the Iron Banner as that event is about everyone going all out.

 • I just get close to them so I can kill them faster than they can charge the rifle. Or stay further out of their range. Other than that, I'm in agreement man.
