Hello Guardians, I'd like to start a thread not so much about me, but to better understand how everyone thinks about your favored class and what you feel your roll is. Races included =) Here goes. I favor the Titan class as my main. Race of choice is Exo because, come on, they so closely resemble our favorite autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron! You know it, I know it - and I know you know I know! *Ahem* Apologizes for my quirkiness. Anyways, I feel my job as a titan is to be directly in the fray of battle. To keep the enemies attention on me so that I can take the damage that you don't have to. My current subclass as a Titan is Defender (2-3 perks from being completely leveled). I originally started as a Striker because being a tank and damage dealer is oh so much fun! But that had to change because 1) I had maxed Striker subclass out first and 2) I noticed that heroic strikes and missions, the daily and weekly, were to hard for a 'pug' team to complete in a reasonable amount of time while I was a Striker. Also it's kinda the first subclass you're put into from the get go, but that's not important ^_^ For those of you who are not familiar with MMO lingo, the term pug often refers to a randomly assembled team of players. So I wasn't being rude when I called them pugs. I love pug teams - you meet new folks, get to learn from their fighting styles, etc. But it becomes exceptionally hard, in my experience anyways, when running anything on heroic. Most of this is due to the team chat system in place currently, or lack thereof... (Please fix this Bungie!) But I digress... The way I see my Titan serving everyone around me is to act as your shield while you hunters and warlocks (and Titan Strikers too) pummel the crud out of the enemy. PvP is a little different, but that's another topic for another time =) I hoped you enjoyed learning a little bit about me, my choice in class/race, and how I feel I best fit into a squad. Share a little bit about yourselves. I want to know what class/race you favor, and how you feel you fit into a squad.
