Stupid question about Raid Lockouts and loot
I have a stupid question about how the loot/raid lockouts work in Destiny. I joined a team last night that had already completed the first 3 boss fights. We killed Atheon last night in VoG and I got a shiny weapon. Am I able to join another group and get loot from bosses 1-3? From what I’ve seen online, I will be able to participate in the fights, but won’t be eligible for loot from Atheon.
I know it’s a dumb question, but I just don’t want my assumptions to prevent me from getting loot.

I am pretty sure you can. We had one guy join to beat Atheon, then started again and ran him through the door to the first chest. He got shards from the chest and the rest of us got nothing. We didn't continue through to the boss but it makes sense that he would continue picking up rewards for the phases he hadn't completed

You can run the raid as many times as you want in a week. You only get loot from the first encounter with each boss/chest per week. Hope that answers your question.

2 RepliesPretty sure you can get loot from each stage once per week, meaning if you do it again you will get loot from everything you haven't already. If you only got loot from Atheon you should get the first 3 loot drops

I did the same thing... If you go back in from the beginning, you [b]will[/b] be able to get loot from earlier encounters in the Vault
