Sword of Crota
I would love for a series of melee weapons to funtion like that. Not the OP damage or special attacks, but 3rd person persistant melee. If the 3rd person seems too much, take my radar. Given the existing programming, I do not think it would be a great stretch to impliment. I am not even hoping for any special way to close the distance on the rest of my enemies in the gun-toting universe. Constant melee weapon mode would make me very happy.
Still hoping for "no helmet" and further aesthetic customization options.

1 ReplyThey could make it a secondary weapon. That way you still have your ranged primary. Let it have the strength of a shotgun with the range of our existing melee. And make it limited use. Maybe a laser sword or lightsaber type weapon. It would use your secondary ammo for it's charge. It can have maybe a 20 second charge once equipped (upgradable to 30), unless you get more ammo. And if you switch back to your primary, you sheathe your sword and stop using your secondary ammo.
