So, I often log on, see many of my friends mid-mission on a plethora of activities, and am unsure if any of them are killing time, or fulfilling a bounty, and if any of them might prefer to be tackling, say the Weekly Strike, but don't have a fireteam at present.
What I'd propose is that, when you look at the launch map, you could select a mission/strike/playlist (and a desired level where appropriate) and rather than only having the choice to Launch that activity, you'd also be able to add to a wishlist.
Then, when your friends look at the map, it would say "1 friend wants to play here" where it currently tells you a friend is already playing it. And they'd know to join you.
Also, where it currently flashes "player x" is nearby when you're patrolling and doing missions, it could pop up a message here if you'd put the same mission in your wishlist, or if you were an appropriate level to tackle it.
It would, I think, really lubricate the setting up a fireteam process, particularly for things like Weekly Strikes or similar.

Pretty good idea my friend
