3day 22 hours and some frackin mins in game time and still have not leveled past 25
If I don't get some Legendary loot soon I am going to drive to Bungie's office and shove a Legendary engram up someones A**. That is 7 days of grinding hard to level up and kicking ass only to get the middle finger from Bungie, 12 Legendary engrams just tonight turned to green crap!!!

Getting to 25 took me about 11 hours on my warlock, just grind crucible and bounties then do queen missions to get helm and chest, then buy 2 from crucible guy ang buy xurs exotic sooo

Yeah, what others are saying. .. get marks and rep. I have all legendary gear and am level 28 with less play time. I had to buy my exotic helm from xur though... was only 13 coins.

get marks; do public events. you can get to 27 without even needing to use the ascendant materials. in the few weeks ive been playing now ive gotten 2 characters to 27 and they are both potentially 29 if I bother to get them their gear. I've actually started making different sets of armor for different weapons and subclasses. making more than one character gives you access to alot more chances for ascendant stuff too. you get 1 heroic a day per character. same for public event rewards etc etc.

Grinding hard and kicking ass is not shooting at a cave for hours on end. You reap what you sow. In that 7 days, I got 1 legendary, 1 exotic and then in only 2 more days after that (not total in-game hours mind you) I got 2 legendaries. Full set right there. For an extra kick in the teeth, I kept leveling my Vanguard and they kept giving me free guns. I kept stockpiling them as well as the exotics from Xur. I’ve put in less time than you OP and I’m currently at 27. It was simply, collect bounties every day and then go on patrols(while doing said bounties) to earn rep. After you've capped the bounties for the day grind out some strikes to earn marks. Legendaries don’t just rain from the sky, you have to earn them.

7 RepliesDo you do the bounties? Collect Vanguard/Crucible marks? You're doing it wrong if it's taken you this long to get gear. Otherwise just wait for the patch then you'll have more legendary items than you know what to do with if you can get 12 engrams in a night.

You`re doing it wrong First increase your Vanguard and Crucible Rep to rank 2 Also farm vanguard and crucible marks, once you are rank 2 with these and have 65 marks, you can buy legendary parts from the vendors at the tower. this is how you get past 25

If you been playin that much and don't have a full set via marks. Well there are issues on your end.

Use your brain and go use your Vanguard/Crucible marks to purchase legendary gear from the vendors.
