99% of the community love this game.
That 1% sure knows how to yell really loud though.
EDIT: You guys do know that it's an abstract 99 percent right? Basically means a large majority. Also, just because you know what the word "quantitative" means does not make you a scientist. Lastly, I never said the game was perfect, just that it's loved by many. You can love things that are not perfect, I do it everyday.

I like the part where either side thinks this forum represents more than a single digit percentage of Destinys total playerbase. Like any game ever, a large majority of players do not give a miniscule shit about the forums and just play the game.

5 RepliesThat's why I hate reading these forms now. The only people who post anymore are people who have some sort of complaint about the game. The people who like the game don't bother posting anything about it because they're too busy actually playing it. That's why the actual Destiny community is great, but the majority of the people who post on this form are just a bunch of whiny brats who think Bungie owes them something.

9 RepliesI love Destiny. I think it's an amazing game, graphics are killer, gameplay is great, and I enjoyed the story too this far too. I think that Bungie has set the stage extremely well for more content to be added in.

2 Repliesthis game could have been tremendous...instead it's just blah....i keep thinking about the original vision of destiny and all that could have been. that game could have become legend....instead we get this watered down version that while playing when my GF says "honey i need you to help with blah blah blah" i have not problem dropping the controler. i was really looking for a reason to break up with her and the original vision of destiny was the basket i put all those eggs into. don't get me wrong for some reason i don't understand i keep playing it over and over agian at the same time thinking "wow this is really boring" or "what is the story/reason behind this particular event i'm doing". remember grape drink and grape juice look the same and sometimes taste the same but they are not the same formula. right now destiny is grape drink and the original vision is the grape juice i salavate for.

^this.... Maybe not 99%, but it's a really good game. But burdened with too much expectations. Also a lot of people buy into that reddit-crap. Sure, every race had an extra starting destination but we're stuck with the exo-variation.... But there are only human remains in the starting area, also exos were war-machines, why should the Ghost find one between an ancient traffic jam (or whatever the pile of cars is)? I think some talented troll just played on all the complaints about Destiny and came up with this brillant post. More or less the same thing could be seen after the Mass Effect 3 ending and disappointed fans buy into that.... I love the game, sure it could be better, but I'm having a blast!

Interesting 'abstract'. Wouldn't only the people who say they enjoy the game continue to talk and play the game, everyone else who doesn't like it have traded in the game or are playing something else. "You can love things that are not perfect, I do it everyday." Non sequitur, nothing is perfect, so you can love anything regardless. The frequency in which you do something is irrelevant. The game is lacking in major areas, Judge the game by it's parts, you'll find the good and the bad. Judge the game as a whole, this game has very little appeal.
