I never intended on buying this game. In fact I bought it the day before the midnight release. I enjoyed every minute of play when I first started but now its just a repetitive game that Is losing interest really fast. I don't see the fun in going into a game and doing bounty after bounty, day after day hoping to get lucky and get some good rewards (like an exoctic bounty, legendary engram, etc) and to then be disappointed. It gets boring that the only thing to do every day is to either play a strike, raid, daily challenge, or crucible (which needs improvement). All im saying is did we get what we paid for?

Not sure about this complaint. Any other game you purchase will take the same amount of time to beat. What do you do then..play PVP just like Battlefield, COD, Boarderlands, etc... Be happy its a MMO and at least you don't have to pay a monthly like FinalFantasy..WOW..blah blah blah. Bungie can't help that you grinded for about 4days straight for a hundred hours! Now what?.....exactly...
-
Play it or not. Bungie got your money man. All that 10 year crap was to sucker you in.
-
But on Tuesdays you get to do it all again!
-
You need to buy the "what we paid for: part 1" dlc.
-
No this is it...sorry

As of now, I've got around 40 hrs of play time in, and while things have gotten a bit repetitive, I'm still having a great time. So, yes, I think I've already gotten my money's worth, and I look forward to what's coming down the road.

Only thing I am disappointed on is the dlc. They said the game really starts at level 20. No it doesn't. They open up strikes that you have already done. You get a raid at level 26. That is the only new content. They said there are areas that will open up when you get to level 20 like the kings watch. No they don't. Apparently, the DLC is just the the keys to the glass doors that are locked and we cannot get through (unless you glitched it in the Beta). I know, it is my fault thinking the DLC would be a new destination like Old Russia or The Exclusion Zone. Nope. It's just the keys to the doors of areas they already have blocked off and exist on our discs. The game is worth the $60. But not the $99 I paid for to get the LE with the two expansions.

I think if you timed yourself playing all story missions at least once, at least one type of patrol mission per planet or moon and each strike and raid I think you would get equal or more time than other first person shooters or action game. Whether you like the content will be whether you got your money's worth. For me I think yes I did. I have found fun playing, i also wonder why i bother playing sometimes too. Will I put more money into it? That I'm not sure yet. I dont love everything about the game but I think overall it is a good game. Not great though.

Edited by AarkTheDragon: 9/30/2014 7:03:26 PMMost people pay $60 for a single-player campaign at lays 20 hours. The fact that Destiny has easily triple that means yes you did get your money's worth.

Short answer? Nope :-/ That ship has sailed.
-
Nope we sure did not. But it will be available as future DLC!!! Titty Sprinkles.

Or rather will we ever see the story we got excited by and wanted to play enough that we waited in line at the midnight release after blindly trusting you with our money early on? Make destiny 2 the game Bungie wanted destiny to be and the story they had mid 2013.. If you continue this Frankenstein's monster of a story into the sequel, I won't buy it. Much less the third or fourth one or any of the dlc.. You can still turn this around. We still believe in you, we're just confused and feel like we've been deceived..
