Vault of Glass end glitch, Please help Bungie
Dear Bungie, our group of six beat the Vault of Glass sunday night around 11:40pm Eastern. We encountered a glitch were the end timer reached zero but never ended the mission, as seen in the video I posted in the link above. Please take a look at the video. We were hoping you could help us out. We do have plans to raid the vault again but we would like what's owed, we were hoping for some class items.

You don't get forced to orbit after the raid - you get the loot immediately upon defeating atheon. There is no bug, if you didn't get items then you got ascendent materials. It happens.
