Ascendant Shard

Can anyone suggest any good methods on getting ascendant shards I need a load to upgrade my gear and I can't seem to find any?

Nightfall, lvl 28 daily and weekly strikes and possible to get from normal 24 strikes also you get a heap of materials from the raid
