EDIT: Just a quick edit to emphasize I am not defending Destiny. I'm disappointed with the game and tired of people saying we need to give the game time to get better because Bungie is such a freaking awesome, user supporting game designer that they couldn't possibly leave the game in its current pitiful state. That's terrible logic for a game we all paid at least $60 for. OP: Destiny is not a 10 year game. It was designed as the first game of a 10 year franchise and a half-baked first game at that. This isn't WOW. They won't be rolling out expansions for Destiny 1 for the next 10 years. They plan on making Destiny 2 and 3. They've said that. This is it. This is all there is. Sure each expansion will have a few missions, a new raid and 1-2 new strikes to add to the (insanely repetitive) strike playlist BUT THIS IS ALL THERE IS. It doesn't get any better, there's not some great story they haven't told us hidden in the free content. You want more story? Pay for it and hope it doles out better story than you got with the $60 game. Until then, grind, grind, grind. Play the same PVP and Strikes over and over and over and over again. Weekend events will continue to be the same missions repackaged in a new skin - Queen's Wrath and the Vehicle PVP Weekend taught us that. Bungie is panicked at the hum-drum reviews they got and doing everything in their power (short of giving us new content) to keep us hooked. Their marketing department is working overtime trying to convince us there is more to this game than there really is. But this is it. This is all there is.
