I pre-ordered this game for xbox one and so far I have been having a good time playing this game. I am now level 27, and have done just about everything that there is to do thus far. In next week's update, the engram system will be changed, making sure that you get at least the rarity of the engram. This is great! But what about people such as myself, who have spent countless hours tediously searching for new loot, getting dozens of purple engrams, only to turn them in and receive a blue rare item? Now that this patch is going out, we have already missed tons/hours of opportunities to receive legendary and up items. Meanwhile, anyone who starts this game after next week, will have the opportunity to acquire far more rare items by the time they reach our level. I for instance, have done just about everything possible in the game so far and only have 5 legendary items, all of which were earned from leveling up my faction or the queen's wrath missions, I am still yet to find anything descent in strikes, crucible matches, or exploring. This is not me trying to bash on the game, the game is very well done and has a ton off growth potential, this is me just trying to shed some light from the perspective of early adopting guardians such as myself. Perhaps Bungie could offer something special (distinct piece of armor, or weapon) to those who have been grinding pretty hard since the launch and have had no luck.
