The sparrow is one of my favorite things in Destiny. The look, sound, and maneuverability of the sparrow is an experience that is completely unique to Destiny. The sparrow has so much potential in Destiny that it would be stupid not to capitalize on it. How awesome would it be to race through the shattered remains of the Cosmodrome with 5 other players, all jockeying for the 1st place spot? How about a dedicated track in the tower that earns its place in Destiny lore as a way for Guardians unwind after battling the Darkness? Racing in Destiny could yield different rewards for the sparrow only, based upon what place you finish. Finish first and get blades that attach to the sides of your sparrow, enabling you to cut through enemies in PvP or PvE. Finish second, get a shader for your sparrow that turns your sparrow into a classic hotrod with painted flames on the sides...the possibilities for sparrow customization are endless. Just as armor has that "wow" factor, the same could go for your sparrow. I just think that there is a lot of hidden potential with the sparrow and racing with them would be a great way to get away from the mindless grinding and unwind after a long day of raids, strikes, and PvP.
