banned?
So I'm not some rageboy crying about paywalls and such but I'm hearing people are getting banned for getting through pay walls? I payed $60 for this game and that includes everything that is on this CD, the players that got Into these areas didn't not alter the content, they did not use 3rd party software, they simply "jumped" in the right spot to fall through a pay wall. As far as I'm concerned if they payed $60 they have the right to jump anywhere in the game they please. The fact that there is content on this cd that I cannot access at launch day is the real problem, if you don't want people accessing content don't give it to them. I will continue to "explore everywhere I see" (as bungie stated) on this cd because that's what I payed for. Thoughts?

1 ReplyI have to agree with this. If they happen to get somewhere then they should be allowed to as it is actually in the game already. They should not really be punished for it with a Ban. If they really did not want people there then they should not have Locked it in the first place and just Withheld it until release. In all reality it is Bungie's fault for not testing the game enough to make sure what they locked out was really locked out. Maybe they will think twice about Locking Out things and instead actually Withhold the crap in the first place. :)

I disagree with banning, they should make you teleport back to the start. If that area was not meant to be explored then either make you die or go back to the start. They should have implemented a barrier

Great post. Bungie banning people for exploring, they're so many bugs in this game. I guess all the content on the DLC's have been released already.. If Bungie doesn't state anything about this soon for there mishap and people getting banned for it that's screwed up. I love this game honestly but everything Is messed up on their part. They sold us an unfinished product, we are simply people looking to have fun in a "open world" game.

it might be automated. Game probably thinks they are hacking because they are outside the map

This game is starting to wear on me. Exploration was fantastic in all their other games and yet I have no desire to explore in this one.

5 RepliesIt's heinous to think that because you bought a disk that you own the content on said disk! How could you think that! Bungie is clearly doing the right thing here because those people didn't buy dlc yet to buy the rest of the disk.
