What is With the Shaders?
Something as simple as a three part color scheme shouldnt be so difficult to aquire. Its either Denver Bronco's colors or the pink/purple ones from the tower?
My proposal is to, at the very least, rotate new shaders daily through that women that sells them. Give us something to buy! The guns and engrams to purchase are already useless after level 5. A step further, would be to give us the ability to choose our own colors in the menu.
These characters could look [i]bad-ass[/i] with some good color schemes. But our choices are pink/purple, green/tan, blue/orange.

Hopefully they will have a event with Halloween adding new shaders and other content like side missions or something

Bump. I like how Warframe did it. Custom color every single piece of your armor than unlock cool versions of those colors through other means. Maybe level should unlock the variations of a color: mat, gloss, pearlescent, metallic... Whatever. I agree though. Bump. Hell, saints row figured it out. Allow full customization, but charge per color change and make that shader dealer chick the guardian "artist".

I dont even use a shader cause, I have full raid gear and the exotic helmet apotheosis veil for my warlock which makes a pretty good match in color.

it used to rotate and you used to be able to buy certain shaders from the rep vendors as well. sadly they removed all of this when they decided to make the game wholly RNG based to pad out the length. or something. but it was there and they removed it.

The stupid part is there's roughly 50 different shaders in the game. Unfortunately, at least 40 of them are all RNG based.

3 RepliesI don't get it either. I do a lot of patroling. To me it seems like about half of the stuff I have to collect from the enemies goes straight to Eva Levante. But when I'm back at the tower and check her shop she sells the same stuff. I demand an explanation. Where do all the materials go that I collected for her patroling countless hours. I suspect Xur is the head of some sort of Tower Mafia. This is the reason why he's only around for the weekend. I bet he just checks in to collect his weekly danegeld. All the exotics are just to blind us so we don't see the truth. Xur sells the best stuff but is likably directly responsable for the fact that every single other shop sells nothing but crap. Think about it guys...

They should give US the Chance to create our own shaders. Maybe at Xur for 3 Strange Coins or Motes of Light. That would be really awesome!

I mean I understand that there are other issues going on, but how difficult is it to change her stock. 108 known different Shaders in the game, and still sitting on the same four? SMH ALSO: To those of you who have said stuff like "EARN" and "LOOK" for the Shaders....how exactly in the hell do you think that's suppose to work with RNG? The damn things are random....you can't "look" for them, you can't "earn" them....they are RANDOM rewards. The reasons why players are asking for them to be available to buy are: 1. The outfitter is a shop. 2. To give a bit of variety and distinction for everyone's Guardians. 3. To alleviate the Randomness of the reward system, so people don't get stuck receiving the same shader. 4. To spend the Glimmer that most of us have piles of. As I said earlier, there are 108 known shaders in the game. Even if a few were set as special rewards, there's more than enough for this lady to at least have 2 new shaders rotated into her store each week. And will give players more options on personalization. So please, think before you type, for your own sake.

8 RepliesOnly downside with making shaders whatever colour you want is that it takes away the prestige of having an exclusive colour as a reward, i.e the white shader from Vault of Glass (and potential future raids) so can't support for that reason. But do support having more options in shop.

You guys are starving this games potential and this is a small example. Guess what I want an exotic shader that is CUSTOM I got a shader that was blue with a grey ring it's cool I like it but I put it on and there's yellow here and there it's cool that's not it but where was yellow on the icon? And it's lil off topic but why can't class gear have stat boosts too! Or some other perk. Plus 30 running or power or recovery!
