Bungie, put in Matchmaking for EVERYTHING
Bungie,
I have a difficult time doing strikes by myself because of Matchmaking not being there for me, same with Queen's Wrath Missions. I reckon you should have the option to turn Matchmaking off or on before you do the Raid, Strike, or Mission you wish to complete. The only way for me to get good loot for increasing my Light is to do very high level activities that are out of my league!

Agreed! Currently we have to go to a damned website to pick up players to do anything high level. How stupid is that?? Ohhh matchmaking makes it to hard because you're grouped with random people!! GUESS WHAT!?!? ITS STILL RANDOM TO GET PEOPLE OFF THE WEBSITE!!!!!! I seriously don't think bungie thought this through....

And please matchmake people according to their mic usage. People that don't use a mic should play together and people that do use a mic should play together. There is nothing more frustrating than 2 people playing with a random person that won't communicate.

Agreed, they underestimate their own community so much. Sure there will be trolls but most of us just want the sweet gear just waiting behind needing a team on call when you decide to do these events, not always readily available.

They aren't going to add matchmaking to the raid because they are elitist, but not having matchmaking for weekly, nightfall, and special (I.E. Queens) events is pretty indefensible at this point... You should join a clan. It helps a lot when looking for fire team members. Doesn't excuse bungies lack of foresight on this but it is the best solution right now...

Its so frustrating not being able to do certain content because your friends are already in a fireteam or not online yet. I still need Queens missions and can't expect my friends to drop everything and come help me.

At the rate I am going, I may never see the raid because of the lack of friends on at one time, and/or the lack of players who either stay in a fireteam to gather a large enough raid group, or even finding anyone who is good enough who isn't just going to ignore you. If they just added MM for everything, they should just have an option that pops up when you select anything that says "READY" and below it it could say "MATCHMAKING" so all the people who don't want to use matchmaking can maintain their game the way they want it, and the people like me can go to the activities. At least there I can enter the game with a bunch of people and friend the ones I like working with for later raids and other missions.

The fact that there is no matchmaking for daily and weekly events is beyond stupid. But it's also dumb that story strike missions cannot be done solo when there is a bounty in them that you could easily complete by yourself.

4 RepliesI'm not saying that it's impossible to do a successful raid from matchmaking. but odds are, you're not going to find experienced users in match making because once you've completed it, you want to stick with those who have done it before so you can do them quickly. so you're going to be matched up with a bunch of low levels and those who have no clue what they are supposed to do. players don't realize how much time it might actually take and quit half way through, then you'll have to start the entire raid over again, which since you don't get loot multiple times so some wouldn't just go back into matchmaking to have to do the first parts without rewards. I have jumped into teams or searched for players to fill my team multiple times and only took about 5 minutes for a response. I've completed the raid 5 times now (helped a lot of people), most of the teams I jumped into had no clue how to finish it and I had to take over and walk them through how to complete a section. and even then it's usually close. Finding a team on the forums isn't hard if you know what to look for. Although I do find myself wanting them to add matchmaking for the raid just for the sake of proving why it wouldn't work for 95% of the matchmade teams. But if they did that, then the arguments would stop for adding matchmaking and start on making an easier version of the raid which is one thing I want them to NOT do. truth is, this is a subject that wont be budging no matter how many people complain about it.
