Visual Reward Thought

Obviously people are complaining a lot about rewards for a variety of reasons, I think something that would help, would be the way you visually receive these rewards. Right now, you get random drops or pick ups from chests with a little icon on your screen, in addition when you finish missions/matches you get a little box show up as well. Perhaps making it more visually pleasing - as if there is confetti falling with the collector bowing to you - might make people happier.I just dont think the most casual of players understand they are getting awesome stuff sometimes because it doesn't really feel like it to them. For example at the end of match screen, it looks like we all are supposed to be rewarded, instead of it looking more like a slot machine - to really signify that it's a random grab bag for participating. I don't know what other visual way to represent earning loot, but I think the current way it looks doesnt impress people and even if they get something good will still complain. Look at games like Borderlands where you get garbage 95% of the drops after playing for 2 hours, somehow no one complains that what they pickup is garbage because of the presentation.

  • There should be vendor you can give engrams to so he can merge them into a better tiered engram. Four standard pay out a green. Four Green pay out a blue. Ten blue pay out a purple. Twenty purple pay out a Gold. It doesn't mean you're going to get exotic, you might get a strange coin, exotic bounty, or shards. The wall is paying for it in glimmer and losing out on the material you would gain from dismantling it.
