Ideas To Make The Destiny World Better/Livelier

Right now the world of Destiny feels kind of empty and dull even though each map is top notch in design. I for one wish there were more NPC around the maps and better side quests while patrolling. Example 1: Would've been cool if you could run into a team of NPC guardians who either give you a side quest that's a little more engaging than the patrol missions of going from your starting point to point B and scan the area or whom you can join in a fight with for something that would tie into the main story but you also wouldn't be missing out on the main story if you didn't complete it. Example 2: you can run into an injured guardian whom you have to go find proper medi-pack for and come back to save and in return he could give some loot. Would be even cooler if later you ran into this guardian or person for a few other different side quests and you would only unlock the next side-quest if you completed the one before it. Example 3: When you get to a part of the map where a cabal or fallen squad is fighting the vex/hive and you chose to aid them you get a right of passage with the cabal/fallen at that specific part of the map until you go to orbit and come back or just that one time and when you leave the area it resets and as long as you don't shoot at them you can just run by and they won't shoot back and you'll get a couple of relics/spinmetal/helium/blooms out of it. Of course you can also just say eff them and start popping htem in the head and they'll start firing back. That way they are still loot-able or if you're doing a bounty where you have to kill a certain amount of enemies you don't have to go find another group if you don't want to. Example 4: Have NPC that elaborate and communicate to the player the content on the grimoire cards in the actual game. Or if you want to keep the grimoire cards on the internet exclusively use NPC characters to kind of fill us in on bits of the story that's not in grimoire form or tell us a little bit about the area we're in. They don't have to be just standing in plain site where they can easily be spotted by the enemy. They can be in caves or areas under cover and instead of always being at one exact spot they move between 3-5 different locations to make it feel more realistic. Maybe they've lost their way to the tower or that's where they're trying to get to and for whatever reason aren't able to so after you cross paths you can help them and next time you go to the tower they will be there. Example 5: In public areas have little games/challenges between guardians. You get to the spot and you can activate it. You can just be a guardian roaming on your own you go to this spot and another random guardian sees you there and comes up and you guys do this little game or challenge. Or you can be with a fireteam or friend and do it like that. This makes good use of the public social interaction aspect which is really lacking right now. As for the challenge one idea is something like a head shot challenge. There will be a group of enemies in the distance (just like there already are in various parts of the maps) and see who can get the most head shots in 45 seconds. Winner gets Vanguard marks maybe or something. There can also be a stat keeper on bungie.net that keeps track of these player vs player public challenges. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I feel like just by adding small things like these would sort of gives a little bit of life and personality to these guardians and places instead of just being killing machines with robotic personalities and beautifully designed places that feel empty. We're all full of ideas so please share your own!
