I've heard a lot of complaints (my own included) about the chryptarch. And I agree that it really doesn't add to my enjoyment of the game in its current implementation. So since Bungie definitely reads these posts, lets give them some constructive ideas on how to improve it. My ideas: Getting a lower value item than the engram you decrypt is not a good experience. So always make the item at least the original rarity of the engram. If that means they need to balance the drop rates and lower legendary engram drops that is okay. Having the a chance to get a better item than than the original engram does add to the fun of decrypting. Even if its a small chance. And that chance being improved by leveling the chryparch (similar to how it is now) adds great progression. This may be reaching a bit. But if the chryptarch could be an exchange for legendary's that you have, but don't want. If i could trade a worthless legenday for a titan i don't have, into a hunter item, even if i had to pay 10,000 glimmer, would be another way to make the chryptarch more enjoyable. I'm sure Bungie wants to make this game as fun as possible. Lets help them. So what ideas do other people have?
