No Clan Tags Appearing In-Game - Yes, Clan Is Set and PSN Is Linked

I'm a level 24 hunter, belong to a clan/group, and have set that clan as my Playstation clan. Unfortunately, the clan does not appear on my in-game player card/badge. I tried leaving the clan and rejoining, but that did not solve the issue. Then a friend of mine noticed that my profile says that I've "never played Destiny." I checked, and it also says I have 0 followers, even though I'm a part of a group/clan and that usually has you auto-follow other members. I realized that I never verified my email--because I never got an email for it--and I'm not sure if my lack of account verification has anything to do with all of this. When I try to have another verification email sent to me, it still doesn't come. After one try, it tells me to "cool off" as if I've been mashing the button for my email to arrive over and over. One try. My address is a gmail account, so I'm wondering if there are any issues with sending emails to gmail perhaps. Yes, I've checked my spam folder. No, I have no filters that would block it. Yes, I've checked the spelling. Yes, I've read the account linking and email help pages, so please do not just link to those. I'm very much enjoying the game otherwise, and any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Bump, having same issue. Have tried everything. I don't have my gmail linked, only psn and xbl accounts. Would help to note that everything else on bungie.net is working perfectly. I can see both characters from both consoles on both the website and companion app. Everything loads properly with the exception of the clan tag on my name plate.

    • Your ability to get a Clan tag in game shouldn't be linked to whether or not your email is verified to my knowledge. If you want to pursue the email verification I can help you with that, but chances are the reason why your clan tag isn't appearing has more to do with which accounts you have linked to your Bungie.net profile. Do you have the PSN ID that you use to play Destiny with linked to your Bungie.net profile? If not, carefully follow these steps to link your PSN to your profile. Let me know if that isn't the case, and let me know if you run into any problems, though I might not be able to respond immediately until later this evening.
