The Angry Joe and IGN review have some good feedback, I haven't watched the other one yet. The gameplay, the shooting action if you will, is great in this game in my opinion. Graphically it looks superb and the sound design and music are really good. I especially like the muffled cries from mobs alerting you of there present further into the structure, cave or area that you are exploring. However, I would really like to see some improvements: - A shmup mini game when waiting for the workd to load instead of watching a few ships in flight. - Upgradable Ghosts, Ships and Sparrows. Give them extra abilities. Enable the ghost to show me when I'm close to farmable materials for instance. Give my Sparrow defensive abilities. - A system (tutorial) whereby the game explains the mechanics a little better. I was playing with a friend yesterday for instance and found out from him that I can increase rep at certain factions. I'm level 20 and didn't really know about it. - Make the classes more distinguishable. - Make the story missions more interesting instead of basically doing the same thing over and over again (horde mode). The same priniciple ruined the last Gears of War game). - Create a few more open areas where you can really race through on your Sparrow. Put outposts in these areas as mini hubs. In short, make it feel more like you are on a planet. - Make weapons and armor look more awesome the rarer they get. Playing to acquire an armor set that shows of what you achieved is another good incentive to keep playing. - When you see two alien factions fighting amongst each other it would be cool if the other doesn't want to destroy you outright when you're shooting their enemies. Sort of the enemy of my enemy is my friend (at least for a short while). - Add a crafting system adding more incentive to go out in the world as you need to collect materials. I'm positive that this game will become better during its lifetime. But I also see a lot of players leave because they think the game is missing too much. Please at least consider the feedback that people give cause that shows they want this game to work. For now I'm still having a blast with Destiny, but it would be even better with at least a few of the improvements people posted online.
