Changes that could make a big difference.

I feel that the community is not being heard by Bungie, we need to make a topic that is big and loud enough that they have to address some of our suggestions for this game. I would ask my fellow Destiny community members to list some of their gripes or general feedback for this game, and I will update this original topic post with a list of things we feel could be changed to make the game a better experience for everybody. I will start the list off with a few of my own, and it would be great if the community join in. This isn't about mindless complaining, or belittling others so I ask you to refrain from these types of behaviour. Things that could be changed for a better experience: 1. PVP Reward System. - The system as it is now isn't benefiting the game at all, it has much more potential. Many of the topics I have seen are about this subject, and that says something. It shouldn't be primarly focused on the winners like many of the suggestions I have read, but the winners should have some form of recognition for their efforts. 1a. The Change - I feel it would better benefit the game mode if winners were guaranteed a random drop, green boots are better than nothing right? This would make the player feel like they earned something for doing well in the crucible, and show the proper recognition to the winners. This would mean that 1st/2nd/3rd placers on the winning team would have 1 guaranteed drop in their slots. The rest of the slots from both winners and losers (both teams) would then be subject to the random drops we see now. Everybody wins. 2. Sparrow despawn - A small complaint yes, but the change would benefit. I think the Sparrow despawns rather too quickly at the moment and having to keep summoning it gets tedious at times. 2a. The Change - An extension of even 5 seconds would change this dramatically. 3. Raid match-making - This is something that just makes sense to me, and I'm baffled that it was left out. Now I know their decision why it was and how the raids are much too difficult to rely on random people for the battles. But that's just it, because the feature was not introduced we are forced to seek out the help of randoms anyway and this poses the same risks as a match-making system would. It doesn't make much sense to be against this, you wouldn't have to use it. 3a. The Change - Include a match-making system! The majority of gamers just want a way to jump straight into the game and content they have paid for, they don't want to have to search for people to play with themselves. It made sense when there was no match-making in games like WoW, because those people are well aware of what goes on in an MMO. This is not an MMO, it's a FPS with RPG levelling and loot drops. 4. Bosses and loot - The problem with a game like this is the bosses you face take time, time that could have been better spent doing something else. When you finally down that bullet absorbing bastard it would be nice to have something to show for it, it's a missed opportunity that bosses don't drop gear. 4a. The Change - Include a drop table that gives bosses a chance to drop cool loot. It would be even better if named enemies/bosses dropped unique gear or gear crafting materials, that would be amazing. Imagine Sepiks Cheat Plate that you crafter from materials that it dropped when you defeated it, with a badass robotic eye in the center. Now that's interesting. 5. Interesting gear - Theres nothing more boring than when a game gives you reward after random reward, only to discover that this cool gun or arm set you got is exactly the same as the one you have only re-skinned. Basically everything you can equip into slots in Destiny (ships, guns, armour) are just re-skinned versions of the same stuff you have already seen. This is compounded by the use of shaders, where the gear isn't even a re-skin anymore and becomes the same as every other piece. 5a. The Change - More unique loot drops, people don't want to go into the tower and see everybody where the same gear they just slogged long and hard to get. This could be tied into the boss drops suggestion too, we need a wider range of armour and weapon permutations that aren't just different colours than the last. The majority of people won't play raids, because of the effort that is required from them to get a fireteam together when all that could have been solved with this feature. Now I have many others but I feel that other users here need to chime in and really show Bungie that these features would make the difference to us.
