Destiny Support

I just got done with Microsoft support and went through all the steps needed to make sure my system was running properly. It passed. Last night I spent 3 hours studying and changing my Port Forwarding. I have opened all necessary ports for destiny and Xbox 360 Live and changed my ISP to Static. I have went through countless hours trying to figure my problem out. I am F*cking tired of this game not working 100%. I have no one appear in my tower and my worlds. WTF! This is supposed to be an open world game right? Why is it not for me? Also don't let me forget about the crucible, it does not work for me as well ... what a surprise ... NOT! I have no problem connecting to my friends ... hmmm so it is clearly not me. I look up the error codes rabbit and mongoose and quite frankly these steps do not work (hence the 3 hours messing with port forwarding) so what good are those forums? I have been loyal from Halo 1 ... I hope this game does not end my loyalty.

  • Thanks for troubleshooting. As an additional troubleshooting step, can you plug your console directly into your modem to see if that temporarily resolves the problems you are seeing? While it may not be a permanent solution, it may tell you whether the problem is between your console and your modem (bad router, WiFi problem, other devices on your network causing issues). More info is available here bungie.net/NETWORKING If you can still not play reliably when directly connected to your modem you may want to contact your ISP to help troubleshoot. On our side, we will continue to investigate and make updates to help players get online and stay online.

    • It's not you it's Bungie and their servers. Much like you I spent two days going over the fixes that Bungie offered with no resolution to connectivity problems. I then went over4 every networking configuration issue with xbox live and everything is good. To play Destiny Story which is the only part of Destiny that I can play after 11 days, I have to eject the Destiny disc, turn of my xbox1, unplug the xbox1, plug the xbox1 back in, turn on the xbox1, reinsert the disc, , sign on and then i can get into xbox story and play uninterrupted. If it were my ports, router, modem or any network configuration issues that Bungie says it was, I wouldn't be able to play Destiny Story. With regard to Crucible, I have completed a match since I have owned this game. It kicks me out and gives me the error code: Bee. Bungie has been less that forthcoming with a fix for this error code by saying it is a problem on the customer/client side rather than saying it is a problem with their servers which they haven't fixed yet. Good luck!

    • Having the same issue since day one. All my other matchmaking and MMO games work except for Destiny. I've spent time messing with settings on my router with static IP and ports.
