So I've noticed a little trend here about people giving Destiny's grind factor quite a bit of hate, and my question is; What's wrong?
Now I'm not the type of gamer that tries to have it all right away. I like to take my time. Explore the games functions and styles of play. I don't much care for "optimized builds" and "fastest grind". None the less I've managed to level two characters to 20 (Hunter just hit 25 light, Warlock just hit 21).
I also missed Xür both weekends, although I did stare at his inventory for quite some time, but lacked the funds for any of that pretty Yellow gear he had.
That said, I think I'm further ahead than should be. I've done around 10 strikes, tons of bounties, more multiplayer than I'm proud to admit, and somehow I'm on par with the rest of the community. Leveling up hasn't been confusing or frustrating to me.
So I ask again; What's wrong? Because so far I've had a grad experience just figuring out the game. I really don't understand the fuss about poor loot, bad design, and frustrating drops. Is every drop supposed to be an improvement? What happened to playing the raid four weeks running for a chance at the good stuff... And is no one else excited for the rest of the story?
Someone please explain why everyone's jimmys are so rustled.
