Idea for a Mega Public Event
The idea would be that occasionally, say a few times a week, a giant army of darkness tries to invade the city, and the game notifies you with a message when your in orbit or at the tower, and gives you the option to help. The battlefield would be on the outskirts of the city, and it would support something like 64 or more guardians, and they would have to fight off droves of enemy troops, elites and boss monsters. I think that would be super fun.

3 RepliesHonestly, I can't wait until we see this sort of thing in gaming. I don't know what generation of console or computer that will be able to handle it, but I want an actual battlefield. I want 150 against thousands. Just wave after wave against your defenses, with snipers up top, shotguns and assault rifles on the bottom. Sheer chaos.

Good idea, but 64 is a bit much. The consoles couldn't handle all those simultaneous supers -- the frame rate would drop terribly. Maybe 20 or 25 people would work.
