So if you've completed the game - is the Stranger from the future? Two things leading me to hypothesize this. First, the description of the gun she gives you says some parts of it should not exist (ie it hasn't been invented yet). Two, she says you must choose even if you choose wrong. This makes me feel as though she already knows what happens and is trying to aid you as much as she can along your "destiny." If she means this, what is the wrong choice? Trusting the Speaker? Awakening Rasputin? Following the Traveler? Who knows, but so far this the only interesting aspect of the story for me. (Sorry if this theory is old news, don't get to spend a lot of time on here nowadays).
