Next Update Must Have These (PLEASE BUNGIE)

1. [b]Make Cutscenes you've already watched skippable.[/b] Cutscenes are great. They let you know what's going on in the story, show off some impressive closeups of new characters, and give you a panoramic view of the environment. But they aren't so great when you've watched them for the millionth time. If you're doing the high-level replays, Daily Story missions, and Weekly Strikes, you're going to see the respective cutscene over and over. Please Bungie, it's fine to make the cutscene unskippable the first time I watch it, but just let me skip it every time after that. 2. [b]Make joining fireteam a bit more smooth.[/b] Right now, if I meet a player out in the field and want to join his (or her) game, I have to accept an invite, get transported to orbit, sit in my spaceship for a tick, then come back down into their game. Why? Every other MMO sticks you in a group where you stand and changes name colors for easy identification. Absolutely hassle free. No disorienting ins and outs. Surely, it's not impossible for Destiny to achieve that too. 3. [b]Refill all ammo after respawning at a checkpoint.[/b] Okay, maybe no refills for group missions, but doing solo missions requires a ton of effort and sometimes you get in a little over your head. People make mistakes, and you die from time to time. Considering the difficulty of some of these missions, it would be so very kind of Bungie to give us at least a chance to get back on our feet by filling up our magazines. At the very least, we should get a refill on the primary and special weapon ammo. 4. [b]Make Grimoire Cards accessible in-game.[/b] Okay, so the in-game storytelling is a bit lacking, but that doesn't mean there isn't a ton of lore to absorb. A whole lot of backstory, character bios, and item descriptions are hidden in the Grimoire cards. The problem is you earn the cards through gameplay, but you can't view them in-game--only through Bungie.net. There's a lot of really cool info in there, and if it isn't going to be readily available without hitting the 'net, a lot of players could miss out. 5. [b]Let players see faction rep from the character screen.[/b] Getting this request would save me a ton of time running around the tower and allow for more time to kill bad guys. The only way you can see how much reputation you've earned with a particular faction is to actually earn some rep and wait for the two-second pop-up icon notification, or drop what you're doing and go all the way to the faction representative at the Tower and talk to them. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to see your accumulation of faction rep points all in one easily accessible location, like on the inventory screen? 6. [b]Set up proximity chat.[/b] I like to help out my fellow Guardians when we're out in the field. Thing is, I don't necessarily want to join a party or fireteam to do it, therefore giving me no way to communicate with them. Easy solution: bring in proximity chat. This would allow anyone close by to hear you gabbing on the mic. It would be perfect for coordinating with others during public events, telling players secrets about the world, or potentially finding people you actually do want to party with. 7.[b] Let players queue for weekly Heroic Strikes and dailies[/b] I really want to play the weekly Heroic Strikes. I really do. But, alas, I don't have a giant pool of friends I can call upon to do them with me. Selecting a weekly Heroic Strike from the travel map just drops you into the mission, all by your lonesome if you aren't in a fireteam. Why can't these be like the Strikes selected from the world map, which let you queue up with other random players online? Please, Bungie, please. I need to earn more Strange Coins. 8. [b]Give players an in-game overworld map during missions[/b] There are overworld maps in Destiny for each of its four worlds that you can view from your ship, but you don't have access to them when you're hoofing it on the ground. Maps just make things more convenient. Using them to navigate patrol missions, find golden chests, and pinpoint public events would be invaluable. Instead of losing precious time running in the wrong direction, you can look at a map and see exactly where you are and where your destination is. 9. [b]Add an undo-discard button[/b] Ouch. Did you just discard that legendary you picked up? Of course, it was an accident, but there's no going back now. Good luck finding another one. 10. [b]Customize your character later in the game[/b] Yes, my character looks terrible bald lol and I wish Bungie adds hair and make up features to the guardian outfitter cause man I'd love some hair right about now. [b]What do you guys what?[/b] There you have it. Those are all of the things that I want Bungie to change in Destiny as soon as possible. Is there anything that you want fixed right away? Maybe you think it's perfect. Maybe not? I don't know. Tell me in the comments below and pray that someone from the Bungie Dev team reads this.

      • I like it all but please add. Please adjust my ghost light so I can turn it on and off In the dark. I love death from walking off hive bridges or getting lost in a dam cave cause it is dark and I fat fingered the controller.

        • I disagree with #9 due to the fact that 1. The discard timer goes slower for Legendaries and Exotics 2. Why are you holding it down over a legendary?

            • A few of these I have said over and over to my friends. Two things make me think that bungie just doesn't give two craps. 1. The players are thinking of things WRONG with the game that make play far better in an "open world" that other games TEN YEARS AGO thought of. 2. Name one time bungie has replied to any of these posts. But for the love of god get rid of the damage buff to low level AI enemies get because no level 8 person will EVER take on (or even damage) a level 28 AI. We put a lot of work into getting to be high levels and those AIs don't deserve to be able to damage us if we couldn't do the same if the positions were reversed. You -blam!-ed up royally. That is a double standard that really bothers me and I really don't think you put one weeks worth of work into planning this game.

            • I think there needs to be a currency vendor where you can exchange motes of light for ascendant shards or energy and strange coins, as this could balance the RNG

              • [b]1.More reward for higher levels and replay[/b] I believe to add more replay value and reward, that missions should still give loot and experience at the end of missions. For example if you play the weekly heroic strike on level 22 and get their rewards, then if you decide to try on a harder level, like 26, then you should still get rewards available for that level as well. That way you're always testing yourself but also able to reap the benefits of trying a harder difficult [b]2. Spawn times for Public Events[/b] I think there should be at least one every 45 minutes. The public events should become more frequent the more players in a server. So if 10 players are in the same area in the Cosmodome, then a public event should happen every15-25 minutes. They should spawn in correspondence to players present [b]3. Higher level patrols[/b] Allow level 20+ players to change the difficulty in the patrols so that they're not easily ran through. Allow players to add skulls to create diversity and chances at better loot [b]4. Higher level strikes[/b] Players should be able to choose strikes at higher levels once again. No more base levels, but true difficulties to test players that will allow better rewards and once again, replayability [u][quote]You ever dance with the Devil I'm the pale moon light?                 • Add the ability to view level modifiers in the Ghost screen. There's no way to tell what they are as you play.

                  • Probably the most reasonable request thread I've seen. I'd very much like to hear from bungie something like "we are working on x" or "x isnt feasible because of this' so we know feedback is being taken in and considered at some level. I understand them ignoring the retarded crap flying around most of the forums, but there are some good suggestions mixed in (many appearing in OP)

                        • You could make a "Post Game Trade option". With this system you could only trade right after the strike/mission. And it's a one time only.. Once you leave that screen no more trading back and forth

                            • As a game dev, those all sound incredibly difficult to implement in the same patch in a timely manner. Maybe choose one or two of those features and wait a fortnight.
